According to the ship's clocks it has been 14 weeks and 6 days since we were awoken.
After Arnold's death, Lord Bradley began work on his machine again, and after a week excitedly took Josef out of his stasis chamber. Josef died the same way Arnold did and Lord Bradley again quietly went to work on his machine. Two more of us have died this way and after about two weeks of tinkering with his machine, Lord Bradley's good spirits indicate that he is getting ready to claim another victim. There is a 50/50 chance that it will be Ana or I and we have joked grimly about flipping a coin for it. But I doubt if Lord Bradley would respect our toss. My body is weak from the alterations to my diet and fluid and the pleasant dreams have turned to endless fever dreams and nightmares after the realization of our doom. Lord Bradley looks as if he will be ready at any moment.
