New Day, New Bully, New Friends

That night, when I went to bed, I dreamt of becoming the best player a Quidditch team could ask for.

Now:

Dean's P. O. V

I woke up to sunlight shining in my eyes. Groaning, I try and blink the sleep out of my eyes. It didn't work. As I was getting out of bed, I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. "Oh, your awake." I heard a voice say. I look in that direction and see a tall male with pale skin, blue eyes and long, dark brown hair. "My name is Teagan Fox, you can just call me Teagan." He says to me, smirking.

"U-umm I-I'm D-Dean N-Novak, j-just call m-me D-Dean." I stutter out, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Alright D-Dean," he starts with a smirk, "How about you get out of this room, and never come back? You don't belong in Hogwarts. Ha! You don't belong anywhere." He says, stalking towards me.

I get up and try to run out of the room when he blocks my path. "Yeah, you aren't going anywhere." He says to me. Teagan grabs my wrist and pins me to the wall. I struggle to get out of his grip, and manage to knee him in the nuts. "Oh you little fucking punk, think your so tuff, huh? Fine, have it your way." Teagan punched me in the gut, then in the throat. I start coughing uncontrollably, and he laughs. "Not so tough now, are ya?" He states, mocking me. The door opens and two males with light blond hair come into the room. "Yo! Teagan, why ya beatin' up on the new kid?" The taller one asks. "He pissed me off. He doesn't belong in Hogwarts, so I'm teaching him his place."

"Really, Teagan? Did he even do anything? Or are you just being as pissy as ever?" The shorter of the two blonds ask. "Oh bugger off, Elric, this is none of your business." Teagan shouted. He let go of me and ran out the door. I fell to the ground, hacking wildly. "Hey, new kid, you okay?" The taller of the two blonds asks me. I just nod my head. "No, I can tell your not, lets take you to Luna, she should know what to do." Elric-as he is now dubbed-said.

"LUNA WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!" The taller of the two shouted in the common room. "Richard Blossom, what is it?" Luna asks, then looks at me. "Oh my, Dean! What happened?!" She asked running up to me. "Fox happened." Elric told her. "Oh dear. We need to report this." Luna said. I shook my head to fast and started coughing. Only this time, I was coughing up blood. "Dean! We must get him to Madam Pomfrey. Richard, go find Harry and Gab-" I shook my head at her, telling her not to tell them.

After the visit to Madam Pomfrey with Luna, I went to my last class of the day, Potions with Snape. Harry said Snape was mean, so I'm a little nervous. When I got to Potions, I saw Elric and Richard and they waved me over to them. "Hey Dean, how's the throat?" Richard asked. It still hurts, can't talk right now but it'll be better in a few days. I wrote down. "Well, sit with us, theres enough room for the three of us to fit."

In class, Professor Snape was calling on people to tell him what ingredients to put in which potions. When he got to me, he asked me, "Mr. Novak, which four potions contain wormwood?" Elric raises his hand next to me and calls out, "Dean can't speak right now."

"I see, Mr. Novak, could you write the answer on a sheet of paper and bring it up to me?" Snape says, with concern lacing his voice. I nodded my head and began to write. The answer is: Draught of Living Dead, Elixir to Induce Euphoria, Shrinking Solution and Healing Potion.

After i wrote my answer, I stood up and walked to Snape, hesitantly. He took the paper and read the answer. Snape smirked at me. "See me after class, Mr. Novak." He said to me. I nodded hesitantly and went back to my seat.

"So, you have to see Professor Snape after class, you must be in trouble." Teagan taunted me from behind. "Shove off, Fox, this is none of your business." Elric says. Class went on from there.

After class, my voice returned, but it still hurt to talk, and I stayed in my seat as everyone got up and left. Richard and Elric told me good bye and headed out. Snape came over to me and sat on the desk right in front of me. "Novak, you interested me, no one has ever gotten all four potions that contain wormwood. Why, I didn't even get all four on my first try. So, how did you do it?" Snape asked me. "I-I don't k-know s-sir. I-it j-just c-came to m-me, t-the a-answers t-to a-any q-question j-just c-comes to m-me." I stutter out.

Snape nods at me. "I have something I want you to take. Have you ever heard of IQ tests?" He asks me.  I nod my head and he smirks. Snape goes to his office and comes out with a huge stack of papers. "I want you to answer as many of these questions as you can, and we will go from there." He says, leaving the room.

Twenty minutes later, I had finished the test and put it on Snape's desk. When he came back forty minutes later, he was shocked to see the whole stack on his desk. "Alright Mr. Novak, I will begin grading this quiz, go on to dinner." Snape said, trying to cover the surprise in his voice.

When I got to the Great Hall, I saw Luna sitting with Elric and Richard so I sat with them. "So, how was the meeting with Snape, Dean." Luna asked. The guys must have told her about potions class. "Well, it went pretty good actually, he had to talk with me about the answers to the question he asked me." I told her. "Hmm, Snape is an odd one, usually, he talks to you in front of the whole entire class." She said.

After dinner, I was in the common room, sitting on the couch reading Pet Semetary by Stephen King, when Teagan came up to me. "W-what d-do y-you want, T-Teagan?" I asked him. "Ahhh nothing, just to mess with my little mouse." He says, smirking. He stalks towards me, then pounces on top of me, like a wild cat to it's pray. "T-Teagan, g-get o-off of m-me!" I yell. I guess Elric, Richard and Luna heard the yell, as they were trying to get him off of me. "Someone go get Professor Lupin! NOW!!" Luna screamed, still trying to get Teagan off of me.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" A deep voice shouts. Suddenly, Teagan is floating over me. "Just what is going on here?" The voice asks. All commotion stops and everyone looks to where the head of house, Remus Lupin is standing. "Professor Lupin, Teagan just attacked Dean." Luna says as calmly as she can in front of the teacher.
