'Oh my god, it's my baby's first day at preschool today' I pouted as I sat cross legged in bed and Niko was laid next to me

'He'll be fine' Niko reassured me as he knew how stressed I'd been about it 'he's like the coolest toddler in the world'

'What if he cries? What if he wants to come home? They might pick on him' I said in one breath as Niko laid on his side to face me and rubbed my back

'I promise you, he'll be fine, he's excited for it' Niko said calmly

'Mummy, daddy' our toddlers voice came booming as he ran into our room 'I'm a big boy today'

'I know' I smiled lightly as Niko lifted him onto our bed 'are you excited?'

'Yeah mummy, I'm going to make lots of friends' he replied matter of factly as Niko sat up and Theo sat in between us

'Yeah?' I asked and he nodded 'and Jayden from playgroup will be there won't he?'

'Your bestfriend Jayden's going to preschool too?' Niko asked our baby cutely in a fake shocked voice

'Yes, he have Spider-Man shoes' Theo said excitedly and done the Spider-Man signal

'Wow' me and Niko said at the same time then laughed

'Mummy's still poorly because of the new baby so daddy's gonna bring you ok?' Niko asked and Theo looked at me then nodded

'No, I wanna come' I said quietly as I gave Theo my phone

'You're not well, you're meant to be in hospital' Niko replied

'I'm not missing his first day at preschool, I feel ok today' I nodded

'If you're sure, but I'm still coming incase you don't feel well' he insisted and I nodded

'Mummy and daddy are both going to bring you' I said to Theo excitedly

'Yay' he cheered and gave me my phone

'Right, let's go get you ready' I smiled and got out of bed steadily with Niko's help

'I can wear my blue tracksuit?' He asked as Niko helped me follow our son into his own room

'Of course baby, go with daddy to brush your teeth and have a shower and I'll get your clothes out' I smiled and Niko picked him up into his long arms

Niko and I sat with Jayden's mum, shekinah, at the edge of the nursery where all of the parents were sat. Shekinah and I were the same age and got along so well since our sons became friends, we were practically bestfriends.

'How's the baby, girlllll?' Shekinah asked in her big ghetto voice which made us laugh

'Good thank you' I nodded and then smirked 'how did the dates go with your new man, I haven't heard you talk about him for a few months?'

She kissed her teeth and rolled her eyes making me grin.

'That bad?' I asked and she let out a dramatic breath

'He has nine babymamas' she said with wide eyes 'nine kids, with nine different women'

'What?' I laughed in shock 'I thought he was only 24'

'He is girl' she nodded and we laughed

Suddenly I got a pain go through my back and legs which made me tense up and wince.

'You ok babe?' Niko asked worriedly as he rubbed my leg

'Yeah I'm fine' I forced a smile as the pair sat either side of me looked at me nervously 'guys, really, I'm fine'

'You need to go back to the hospital' shekinah insisted

'No I don't, it's fine, see the pains gone already' I said truthfully

'Bitch, you're five months pregnant, you gotta be making sure everything's ok in there' my bestfriend pursed her lips

'Just listen to us' Niko said

'What you gonna let him lay the pipe and then not listen to him about the situation it put you in?' Shekinah joked

'Hey' Niko said in joke offence and we all laughed

'Parents, it is now time to say goodbye to your little ones' the nursery leader announced and all of the kids came running over

'Bye bye mummy, bye bye daddy' Theo cuddled us and him and Jayden ran over together

'Bye baby, have fun and be good' I smiled as i squeezed him 'we'll see you soon'

'Bye auntie kinah' Theo managed out as him and Jayden held arms

'Bye auntie Brooke, bye uncle Niko' Jayden called to us

'Bye boys' all three of us said at the same time and then laughed

'Ok come on, let's get you to a hospital' shekinah sassed as her and Niko helped me up

'There's no nee-' I started

'If you don't get in my car I will drag you in there' she sassed with a smiled and I shook my head lightly
