Omega's POV

“ What do you mean ‘it’,” Annabeth asked, looking at me. Now everyone was silent, I saw my soldiers shifted uncertain. I looked into her eye, stormy grey, that attracted me…no Percy when he first saw her.

The harder I looked at her, I felt Percy slip into my mind. He loved her, but did I?. I don’t know, am I Percy. I wasn’t sure, I couldn’t take it, I shoved her dagger from my neck and ran into the woods. My feet pounded against the dirt, I tripped over bushes and roots, but it didn’t stop me. I was running…from what? My old life that was what I was running from.

Suddenly I felt water around me, engulfing me. I screamed, noticing A) I was in the ocean B) I could breathe.

I resurfaced, my hood still attached, yet I was soaking wet. I was breathing deeply, my sword beside me as I tred in the water. I was in the middle of complete nowhere. Yet in the distance I made out the shore of an island. I decided I should just vapor travel back to Camp, yet the island was so tempting. It was as if it was singing to me, luring me. I swam a little further, and I knew exactly where I was, the Island of The Siren’s.

I shook my head, instantly covering my ears. I needed to get out of here before… I want to know. I do. I crooked my head peering at the rock cliffs. I’ll uncover my ears for a quick second, then transport back, alright. It sounded simple, but if it could cause Annabeth to go insane, then it will me.

“Don’t worry, Perseus, I’ll stop you before you make any stupid decisions, but you need to know your heart’s desire,” a melancholy voice sang, I turned to find a young girl, with mangled brown hair. She had a hooded cloak, and she was practically standing on the water.

“Lady Hestia,” I said managing to bow in the current of the ocean. During my struggles here on earth, before I left, Hestia comforted me. She talked to me, and made me feel better. She was the only god or Greek in general that still believed in me.

“Go,” she whispered and disappeared, but I felt her presence around me. She was planning on stopping me if I hear too much.

Slowly, uncertain, I swam towards the island. It felt good to be back into the water, Earth’s Oceans.

On the shore of the island I saw the amphitheater in camp half-blood. I sat in a row, wearing my camp t-shirt. I was laughing, my arm draped around Annabeth. She was also smiling, pleased with the world. The soldiers were there, all uncloaked and wearing camp t-shirts even Zoe, who wore a hunter’s quiver over her shoulder. The Olympians were there to, Sally and Poseidon were sitting behind me, holding each other close, their noses touching. That was a little more than I wanted to see.I also saw a glimpse of Leo who was laughing. With…was that Calypso. Juniper and Grover were soothing each other, the there was also Tyson ad Ella. And behind all of us, was all of Camp Jupiter, together, rejoiced. No Lander in sight.

Is this what I really want? Do I really want to be with the ones who betrayed me, who left me? I do. I need to be there,  I want to feel Annabeth in my hands. I know my mother is dead, but I want her, knowing she’s there. My father, he loves me, I want to know I am his son. And with that the world vanished. And I was plummeting into darkness.

Bianca’s POV

We were freaking out, Percy, he disappeared off of the side of the earth. We finally returned to the cabin after an hour of looking, all worried sick.

Suddenly there was a scream and vapor filled the air. I head sobbing, deep sobs. When the fog vanished, Percy sat in a fetal position, drenched. The cabin was full of a salty smell, but that isn’t what concerned me. He had his head in his hands, and he was crying. No one has ever seen Percy or Omega cry. He was shaking violently too, I glared at the others. Who were shocked, their eyes stuck on Percy.

Luke was the first and bravest and knelt beside Percy, resting a hand on his back.

“Omega, what’s wrong, what happened,” he said, his voice was caring. I knelt next, then the rest of us.

I listened to his muffled sobs, I caught a few words, one which was Sirens. I recalled myths of Sirens, they can make the bravest go crazy. It shows your desire, yet the desires are always impossible to with stand.

I looked over at Luke, he mouthed: What should we do?

I didn’t know, I looked back at the shaking Percy. He looked so broken and sad, and miserable. He finally came to his senses, he wiped his face and got up. He didn’t say anything, yet he didn’t seem mad at us.  He stalked into the bed room, he didn’t shut the door, and he didn’t slam anything. He just went over to his bunk, leaving a trail of salt water. He removed his cloak but the moved out of view of the door.

I went back and sat beside Luke who was still kneeling at the floor.

“Should we be concerned,” Luke whispered.

“Yeah, let’s wait until he finds out what the camper are doing tonight,” I said, slightly anxious. Today is August 18th, I am not sure if Percy knows, but today is his birthday. Chaos and earth time runs differently, about a hundred years in Chaos time is a decade here on earth. So it has been what...fifty years. But tonight the camp will gather and have a ceremony for all the fallen soldiers, but more specifically it is made for Percy.

Soon Percy stepped into view. He wore a black hooded jacket and some jeans, and an old pair of converse. He rubbed his eyes, as if something was irritated.

“Gods, Silena, how hard are contacts to put in,” he said, his voice light, almost back to old Percy’s. He finally removed his eyes and his eyes were brown. He called her Silena, it is usually Epsilon.

“Where’d you think you are going, they’ll still recognize you as Omega,” I insisted. He shook my comment aside.

“ I am heading into the city, alright, Al-Luke you’re in charge,” he said simply, twirling a pen in his hands. Did he have riptide, like in pen form, he never keeps it in pen form.

“Hold it young man,” I said, holding his arm. He moaned.

“What,” he complained.

“Tell us, who sent you to the Island of the Sirens,” I demanded. He shrugged.

“Hestia, she wanted to show me what I want,” he said simply. I nodded.

“Now may I go, mom,” he said. I should’ve been offended, but I cracked up laughing. Percy even cracked a smile. Percy was back, or at least he was shedding the coldness of Omega.

“Yes, but be home for dinner,” I teased; he gave a light chuckle and left the room. Now there was silence we all looked at each other in awe and happiness. This the beginning of something big.
