You walk down the hall, one turn after another, right and left. 'Lost again...' You sigh pulling out your phone in defeat.

"Hey, Matsuda." Your voice calls through the speaker on the small object. "I'm... Lost again." Another sigh.

"Really (Y/N)?! That's like the fourth time this week! I know this place is big, but it's not set to be a maze." His frustration is widely noticeable through his exhale.

'At least he still answers his phone when you call.' Seeps through your mind before his voice picks back up.

"What's the last notable thing you remember seeing?"

"Thanks." You smile as you tell him.

"What?" He jumps. "I haven't seen a place like that here yet. Let me ask about it and I'll give a call back when I get something.

"Thanks again." You whisper and the line disconnects.

Thinking it best, you go back to the landmark you described and lean against the wall, sighing again.

"I never help much. Don't know why I'm here most the time." You pull your knees tighter to your chest and bury your face. The ringing of your phone places you back in the same quiet hall with the same sent as before.

"Hey, (Y/N). We figured it out and sent light to go get you. Try not to get lost on the way back with him." He laughs so you do the same. Feeling embarrassed and hurt.

Eventually the familiar boy shows up, his light brown hair shining beneath the bright lights.

"Thanks" You smile as you stand then bow.

"Don't make this a habit." He begins to lecture. "The last time you put us off an hour trying to find you and now you're lost again. Try paying more attention when you do things maybe it will help you be less clumsy too." He's trying to mask it but the frustration leeks through his teeth, always playing innocent. The two of you make it back to the main room after some walking. A loud kind of sarcastic cheer bellows about the room with your return.

"Sorry that took so long." You loudly announce. "But I got the print outs." You smile holding them up like nothing happen.

"Thanks." L's voice states as his unchanging eyes lock into yours. He then quickly turns back to his computer screen. You set the stack of papers in an obvious, accessible place then turn back to the door. The doorknob turns by your hand, a small noise is released about the room, bringing everyone's attention but L's who continues to work.

"Don't you get lost again." One of the men joke. Your eyes drift to meet lights stern, glaring expression.

"I won't." You laugh with the man. "At least I hope." You say as you shut the door behind you. A somber look developing your features once you hear the click. Your feet lead you to the one place you can always find. The kitchen. You step on the cool tile with a tap. You look up and smile. Cooking, baking. It's one of the best things. You lean against the tall counter and look to the happy man working there.

"Good evening (Y/N)." He warmly greets you.

"Hey Watari, need any help?" You smile and perk up.

"I can always use your help." He says, a welcoming smile shining across his face.

"So what we making and where do you need me?!"

"We are making chocolate covered strawberry mini cheesecakes. I'm just about to start so you can help with whatever you would like."

"That's kinda a mouth full but sounds really good! Let's get started, I can't wait!" You beam popping up to go wash your hands. You begin with gathering ingredients and the dishes required. Watari starts prepping the strawberries while you mix the items in bowls as needed. The two of you dance about the kitchen as you talk and switch jobs. The crust makes its way into the oven and the filling gets special attention as it becomes complete. The oven beeps, filling fills back in the heat. A quick twenty minuet bake. Strawberries then chocolate on top, and in the fridge goes the finished individual cheesecakes.
