Chapter 2- Fateful meeting or just an coincidence?

"Kuroneko! It's time to wake up!" Kuroneko's Aunt, Aunt Esme called.
Kuroneko awoke to the voice of her aunt and slowly got up ,then sat on the edge of her purple queen sized bed. While she sat there, she thought back to yesterday, and what happened yesterday.

"So your name's Kuroneko," Shironeko said and then mumbled,"The exact opposite of mine."

When he was about to say something else, someone called him. "Shi-chan! Mother want us home for dinner!" A little boy said as he ran to where we were standing and tugged at Shironeko's striped blue shirt.

"Oh, right." Shironeko said as he realized what time it was. "Come on! Come on!" the little boy said as he tugged on his older brother's shirt to get him walking. Shironeko glanced back at Kuroneko, and waved.

It was a see-you-later wave, not a good-bye one.

Therefore it was something special that Kuroneko will remember.

Not one that she'll forget. After a while she started to wave back, and that earned her a gentle smile from a boy she just met.

He has dimples, Kuroneko thought as she watched him smile.
He also has this aura to make whoever that's alone, feel like they're not.

"Kuroneko?" Aunt Esme questioned when she walked in and saw that Kuroneko was just sitting on the edge of her bed, like she's in a deep thought.
"Get dressed now or else you will be late to school!" Aunt Esme said. "Chop chop," and she clapped her hands to get Kuroneko moving and went out of the room.

Kuroneko opened her closet and turned on her light. She took off her flowing white dress and started to change into her uniform.

Once she's done, she went to the bathroom and she washed her face with water. She then,walked downstairs.

"Good morning, Aunt Esme." Kuroneko said as she sat down at the table."What's for breakfast today?" She questioned.

"Good morning. Today we have sunny-side-up eggs and some salad!" Aunt Esme said as she sat down at the table across from Kuroneko. This used to be Kuroneko's favorite combination for breakfast, Aut Esme thought sadly.

She and her aunt ate breakfast silently until when Kuroneko's finished eating and she started to clean up the plates.

"Thank you, Kuroneko." Aunt Esme said and brought the left over plates and bowls to the sink, "I'll finish up the rest."

"Okay," Kuroneko said and went to her room. She got her thing all in her bag that she carries to school that is a light brown or beige colored bag.

Then she got her reading glasses and went down stairs. She took the her lunch money from the counter and stuffed it into her bag.

"See you later, Aunt Esme!" Kuroneko mumbled and left the house.

It takes about 10 minutes to reach to school, which Kuroneko basically ran everyday, so she won't be late.

Although she is always the first person to reach school and is in class before anyone. Again she saw the 2 birds flying and chirping. She stopped running for a second and glanced at them.

Suddenly she spotted others getting to school, and continued running.
As she reached the school and changed her shoes to go into the school, she heard a voice she knew that was familiar.

When she turned around, who she saw was Shironeko.
"I knew it was you, Kuroneko!"Shironeko exclaimed and came over,"How come I've never seen you around?" He asked.

"Hi. Well that's because I've been homeschooled for 2 years due to some personal things happening." Kuroneko said and started to fumble her fingers in shyness.

"Oh," Shironeko said suddenly becoming quiet. "So do you want me to show you your class?" He asked, as he started to walk.

How does he know what my class is? Kuroneko thought, and followed him.
As of reading my mind he answered my question,"I saw your name and class on the bulletin board, yesterday." He answered blushing slightly.
Kuroneko nodded solemnly and continued on following him.
"Oh! Do you want to find your locker first?" He asked and stopped at a row of lockers near the classroom. Kuroneko nodded again and went to get her combination.
Locker#4019: 20, 22, 2. Was what the slip read, when Kuroneko got her locker# and combination.
