The tragic end

There was a girl and her name was Clarissa who was wealthy but always felt like she didn't belong while all the other girls were sowing she was shooting arrows and swimming while prince Edward was sad as his mother passed away and since he has become of age it was time for him to marry and Clarissa hated the subject but her time came too there was a royal ball all the women across the country would be going including Clarissas close friend Mary Mary was not at all like Clarissa she loved balls sowing and all the other stuff girls liked to do but since Clarissa knew that going to the ball would make her father happy and she hadn't seen him smile since her mother Diane passed away so she decided to go when Clarissa heard she was shocked happy surprised all at once she immediately gave her a beautiful blue dress Clarissa accepted and started to get ready for tonight's ball meanwhile prince Edward was so miserable he didn't want to marry he didn't want to love as he had lost his mother who he loved and was afraid if he fell in love he wouldn't be able to handle it but by the time of the ball he managed to get ready without shedding a tear all the women came but since Clarissa did not see her dad she went to walk in gardens prince Edward was greeted by many women but wasn't impressed by any he couldn't take it anymore he went out to get some fresh air when Clarissa saw him she hid in bushes as she did not want to be his future wife as she did not believe in love she thought to herself why do these girls get excited each one of them is beautiful they don't need a prince she heard footsteps it was prince Edward but since he took of all his gold and silver she did not recognize him when she so she panicked and threw him on floor this scared her she ran off and an went back home to her surprise she saw her father and a doctor she waited till the doctor left and asked what happened to my father the doc said in a worrying tone you're father is dying she knew her father would want to go to work he was a soldier that has never lost a battle Clarissa knew that if he went to war his chances of survival will decrease so she talked to the lord commander and told him her father is sick and she would be taking his position the lord commander agreed if she took training for 1 week if she is capable then she would be allowed to take her fathers position so she went and proved herself worthy and was allowed to her fathers position she went home to her father and said father I know you are sick so I shall take you're place father I shall go to war
