Rhea Lawson was a history professor at a local university in her cozy little English village. She always wanted a happy ending but could never find the right person. The girl who made life feel like an adventure but also one who could be her best friend. The thought was a ghost haunting Rhea, a wisp of a dream she long gave up on.
Natasha Romanoff had many names. Countless faces and crimes. She was ready to retire, move on, and live a peaceful happy life. Then a civil war broke out, and she was caught between two sides. She disappeared once again and the want of a family had to be pushed aside. She needed to survive.
Together they were each others halves. Rhea healed and put Natasha back together again, piece by piece. Natasha gave her something precious, like water in a desert, fleeting and vital. She gave her love. They gradually made a life together, until an infinite war tore through the universe.
