*alarm ringing*
God. It's currently Summer of 2019 and I just finished my first year of college at UCLA. I am working to get my degree in counseling. It's always been my passion and I plan to be a student counselor at a middle or junior high school. Let's just say, getting there is definitely not easy. Anyways, it's summer and I could be thinking about hanging out with friends or doing summery things. For the most part, I'm a pretty outgoing person but can be extremely reserved at times. I was never a partier in high school and don't plan on ever being one. I'd rather stay in my small apartment in Los Angeles, California. I'm originally from Laguna Beach, California and often go there to see my family. Enough of the boring stuff.
I slam my alarm clock because if I don't set it, I'd sleep all day. Wow now that I'm awake and it's summer I have no where to go.
After a while I decide to hit the coffee shop down the street. I've never been there and I've always wanted to go but never had the time or energy to go.
I get dressed in a cute black dress and a jean jacket to make myself not look so extra. I quickly do my makeup and go out the door after I'm satisfied on how I look.
I walk into the cute coffee shop called "elles cafe" and wow this place is so cute. I go in a order a Caramel Macchiato and a bagel. I stand and wait for my order to be called when I feel a tug on my jacket sleeve.
"Excuse me" i look down at where the cute voice came from and it was an adorable little girl with the cutest clothes on.
"Hey cutie are you looking for your mom or dad?" I ask sweetly and kneeling down to her height.
"Um no but my bro-" she starts when a boy who looks around my age, maybe a bit older comes up
"Harp don't wander off like that you scared me so fu-... so bad" he says looking relieved he found her but making sure he didn't slip that F bomb
"Oh sorry" she says looking down at her shoes
"Say sorry to her for bothering her and let's go get our order and get home before mom kills us" he chuckles and leans down with me
"No it's okay she wasn't bothering me" i say
