"Oh, I didn't know she was riding with us." Duncan looked at the two confused as Courtney nodded. "Yeah, well she is." "Hey Court, can I talk to you really quick.. in private." She rolled her eyes and nodded walking away from Gwen. "Court, I do not wanna ride with her." "Why not?" "Cause she fucking cheated on me. That's why!" Courtney sighed nodding. "You're right, you're right.." "it's okay, babe. I'll just take a uber home." "No, no. We took your car here, me and Gwen will take a uber." "You sure?" Duncan kissed her cheek and gave her a small smile. "Very sure." She smiled up at him. "I'll see you later. Be safe, please." "You too, beautiful." She walked away as he went on his phone to call up a uber for them. Duncan got into the car and took off towards their apartment. "This song is always playing, jesus." He remarked as Katy Perry's 'small talk' played in the car. "It's kinda catchy though. We went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime." He sang along chuckling a bit before widening his eyes hitting the brake hard as a guy ran a red light right in front of him. "Geez man! Are you trying to kill me!" He huffed shaking his head as he began to start to drive again.

Courtney laughed with Gwen as they stood in the kitchen. "Oh my god, that was hilarious. That went on for literal days!" She shook her head as she took out spaghetti noodles. "Seriously. Remember your mom didn't even wanna let you out the house.. you're making spaghetti?" Courtney smiled nodding filling up a pot of water. "Yeah, it's Duncan's favorite. y'know–" "cause he's Italian!" They said in unison as they both laughed as Gwen sighed. "Court, i-" Courtney cut her off as she looked at her phone. "That's weird. Duncan should've been here by now.. hold on Gwen, I'm gonna call him." She smiled politely before walking away from her. Gwen sighed again as she played with her fingers. She couldn't go through with the plan to break them up. That'd be.. what? The third time, Gwen ruined Courtney's relationship. Courtney was a good person she doesn't deserve that. "He's not answering. This is so weird." She announced coming back in the kitchen and continuing to make the spaghetti. "I'm sure it's nothing, I'm gonna go get ready for bed. Tell me if you need anything." Courtney looked back at her and nodding flashing her a small smile. "Sure."

Gwen pulled her hair up in a bun picking her phone up off her dresser. Just as she was about to open her phone a call popped up on her screen from an unknown caller. She knew exactly who it was though, and that's why she declined the call. She opened her phone and began to text Leshawna, who was like her only friend. Before she hit send the unknown number popped up again as she huffed angrily. "You have to be fucking kidding me." She mumbled declining again and sending the text to Leshawna. She put her phone down and walked over to her lamp cutting off as the phone rang again. Unknown caller. She huffed again plopping on her bed before grabbing the phone and answering. "Why the hell do you keep calling me?" She fumed before she was met with silence. "Hello?! Answer me you ass!" A long breath was heard on the other line before he spoke. "Since you don't wanna help me with my problem. I took it upon myself." "What the hell are y-" "NO NO LORD PLEASE!!" Gwen dropped her phone on the floor as she rushed downstairs to find Courtney wailing on the floor, her phone beside her. "Courtney, oh my god! What's wrong?!" She rushed to her side wrapping her arms around the crying girl.

"D-Duncan got into a really b-bad car wreck.. They don't think he's going to m-m-make it!"
