dick's p.o.v
From the moment I woke up to the moment Tati sat me down at breakfast I knew something was up, maybe it was the way he quirked his eyebrow when I walked into the dining room or maybe it was the not so subtle folding in half of the daily newspaper
"you excited for your field trip today"
I almost choked on my toast, I knew that this day was going to be interesting "fu.....I mean holy cheese and crackers I forgot"
"how can you forget it's all you ever talk about on patrol" laughs bruce as he goes back to eating his breakfast
"wait for the surprise field trip is today!?" He looked at me like I had placed a potato bag on my head and started calling myself the scarecrow.
"what other field trip would i be talking about"
I grumbled in response and went back to my toast,Bruce smirked at my response and went back to his paper. for the next 10 minutes the room was filled with silence both to busy in their own worlds to utter a word.
"master dick, master Bruce will you please hurry along, we need to be in town before snow falls"
seeing as both of us didn't really want an angry/pissed off Alfred pennyworth we hurry to get our coats and shoes on and get out the door as quickly as we could. I didn't worry about bring the stuff on the packing list because we'll i forget about it, I'm shore it won't bite me in the bum later.
Wally's p.o.v
"Uncle Barry, uncle Barry it's finally the day of the surprise field trip"
I yelled as I raced down the stairs nearly tripping over the cat on the bottom step.
"calm down sport you act like its your first one" uncle Barry shouts as I run into the kitchen. as i sat down almost vibrating in my seat aunt Iris walked into the room
"but i can't uncle Barry, I'm just too excited" I wined to my uncle as he placed a plate piled high in food is set in-font of him.
"because I heard that only three schools actually won the competition!" I say between mouthfuls of pancakes and bacon
"well then let's just hope that it's not the big three" my aunt iris says casually and I literally choke on air.
it's just common knowledge that the big three hate each other and everything the other schools stand for. Not to mention the last time they were together in one place, they had 20 kids injured and a lifetime ban from the aquarium.
"I don't know, it would make a good story though " was my only reply before I get my already packed bag and raced out of the door.
Roy's p.o.v
"good morning sleepy head"
I hear as I wake to the sun streaming in through the curtains into my eyes, I could have sworn I closed those last night.
"it burns, it burns" i say dramatically, earning a laugh from my roommate sterling who was standing over me with two pans from the kitchen. He looks at me dead serious
"Rise and shine roytoy , we're late for classes"
"wtf Sterles why didn't you wake me" he rolled his eyes and through my backpack onto my bed absolutely nailing my family jewels. sterling was the loveable otter hybrid that lived with me, he was just like Kaldor both Atlantean, naturally born leaders, smart, funny and into Dungeons and dragons.
"come on today's the day" he mocks pulling the covers of me. Rude.
I hiss at him as i go to the bathroom to have a shower
"you are a vampire man and i will prove it!" He shouts back, leaving my room.
when I got out the bathroom I was already dressed and sterling was at the door with both our bags waiting for me
dick's p.o.v
the car ride was mostly quiet on my part Bruce was going over different plans and blueprints he will need for his meeting today. when We arrive in-font of the school i shoot out of the car to babs at such speed it put Wally to shame.
"heyo pixie boots" I smile at her and give her a big hug.
we start to do our hand shake but get interrupted by one of babs's friends; betty cain, she's alright but she's a gossip and is head of the yearbook committee.
"so who do you think won our exclusive tour? and who do you think are the three schools coming? and where do you think we are going?" It was like Babs and I were being interviewed. We just stared at her for a second processing what she just said
"we are Gotham academy one of the big three be glad we are going anywhere thanks to that incident with the octopus last year" I say in my usual fake American accent.
"your such a party pooper Richard" she smacks me on the arm lovingly and I resist the edge to role my eyes at bettys response oh this day was going to be fun note the sarcasm.
Roy's p.o.v
finally we're here and it only took ten minutes (gotta love student housing). when we're there are students everywhere in so many different cliques each looking like they had one to many energy drinks this morning
"I thought you said we were late Sterles" he just shrugs and laughs as we park our motorcycles and get ready for our first class
"hey who do you think won this thing?" asked sterling as he tucks his ears and tail into his clothes. At first I didn't realise what he was talking about, then it hit me
"The trips today?!?" I catch up to him annoyed and glare at him as we walk up to megan and conner who seemed to be waiting for us
"Greetings friends " Megan said sweetly before greeting us all with a hug. Me, con and stirls then exchange our normal greeting an overly complicated handshake.
"so anyone else curious about the field trip" sterling asks after putting his favourite rock back into his pocket
"Well they do say curiosity killed the cat" I replied cryptically
"i hope Gotham and central aren't coming that would make it a relly big cat.tastrophe" sterling stated calmly with a straight face
"yea that would not be astrous" stated conner in his usual monotone voice, not getting the puns
"what" sherling look at me for explanation but I just shrugged
I swear he's been around robin to long.
Wally's P.o.v
"come on, come on, come on i'm already late" I say looking down at my watch. I was heading towards the nearest zata point that i would have to zata of i wanted to get there on the bell because Batman and uncle Barry said I can't supersoeed to school anymore.

"I don't know how your always so late to get up but still some how manage to get here right on time for the bell man" my friend Tyler comments laughing as we walk towards the gym for the announcement assembly.
"why does it have to be so crowded" he mutters was we walk into the gymnasium, I put an arm around his shoulder, he was just like rob when he wasn't wearing any of his many public personas.
as we walk and take our seats in the back of the gymnasium I get the excitement back that I lost in my panic to get to school on time. this is going to be so fun, its almost to hard to control my self from vibrating in my seat.
"i cant wait" Tyler smiles at my antics and gives me one of his fidget toys to play with.
