Maybe because of those words that he just can’t seem to focuse on anything.

His intelligent onyx eyes stares at his sapphire eyes with so much softness only for him.

His sad but forced happy chuckles keeps escaping from his soft plump lips.

He can’t handle it.

He stare at the soft onyx eyes blankly.

Intelligent onyx eyes filled with sorrow at his friend. But also filled with determination and acceptance roaring clear in those intellegent onyx eyes.

He looks so calm. Almost like relieved.

He doesn’t know why his chest felt so heavy. Why his world seems to be falling down around them while the intelligent onyx eyes keeps staring carefully but softly at him.

Like he always does.

After all, Michael is the one with brain.

He’s the one with will.

They helps each other,
They protect each other.

Michael always helps him with everything
He will drop down everything on his agenda to help him.
While whining and saying how troublesome he is.

But, he always stays.

Maybe that’s why he felt deep sorrow and frustration in his heart.

Why he felt angry at the acceptance in those intelligent onyx eyes.

Why he felt frustration at the forced happy smile and chuckles

Why he felt dissapointed at himself that Michael stays strong for him yet knowing this will be his end.

Chattering cheerfully at him like how they always are on private disscussion.

Before Michael get less and less sleep.

Ritchie can’t lie if he says he doesn’t miss this cheery and happy Michael.

But he don’t want any of it if this what it takes for that.

But fine.

Michael have always been the stubborn one.

If this what he wants, he'll let it be.

He can’t do anything now beside accepting his decision.

He accept it while knowing that it will cause him so much damage that'll last for eternity.

But he will bear it.

For Michael, anything he'll do.

Ritchie stays quiet at the false excited chatters from Michael.

He walks down the stairs without saying anything.

His eyelids felt heavy as he felt his legs wobble a bit.

He gritted his teeth silently

The chatter quiets down, leaving only a true sad chuckle.

His burning shappire eyes stares at the figure standing only feets away yet felt like so far away.

“Goodbye, old friend”

And so that, he walks down the stairs in silence.

Leaving his true best friend—no, Brother behind with heavy guilt and burden in his heart and shoulders.

He felt his mouth moves on his own.
His lips are dry.

He watch the back of someone who he will gladly call brother walking away from him.

The painfulness feeling of realizing that he’s left behind and guilt for his selfishness claws his heart.

He falls down,

Clutching his forever tormented heart.

A sob escapes his trembling lips.

“B-brother... *sob*D-don’t leave me..."

Two wrenching sob of painfulness and sadness echoes at the silent night.

Breaking any hearts that comes across to hear it.

Screaming on how unfair the world is

For breaking them apart so unfairly.

But that’s just how the world is.

And they are the poor victims of the unfairness of the world.
