I was at Baker's old desk trying to organize his notes. "Ugh," I said trying to smooth out a crumpled piece of paper. "How does he get any work done?" I asked Jon who was in the desk over.
"He really doesn't." Jon said. "He used to give me the paper work and he would boss people around."
"I swear, if I become Tactical Officer again, he's going to get transfered." I said trying to read his notes. I heard Jon chuckle beside me.
We went silent for awhile till Jon spoke up. "I know this question my be inappropiate, but I'm curious." He said. I looked to him. "Why didn't the Captain transfer you?"
"We're friends. I don't think he would want me moving ships." I said. "Frankly I don't want to transfer, but if I stay here for too long I am going to transfer myself. No offense." I said hoping I didn't offend Jon.
"None taking. This place down here isn't for everyone." he said. "How long do you think it will take before people from the bridge start complaining about Barker?"
I laughed. "Oh, I'm sure someone's already complained." I said filing some important documents. "He is quite the ass."

Sure enough an hour went by and Uhura came down to the weapons bay. "Isabella Arella Williams." She said using my full name. "How could you let Kirk demote you?" She asked. "Now we have some asshole up there acting like he is the king. How could you even let that man on this ship?" She asked flopping herself onto my desk.
I laughed. "Is it that bad?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"Oh. OH!" She said. "Where do I start?" She said.
Just then I heard other more footsteps approaching. I looked up to see Chekov and Sulu approaching. "Oh, look!" I exclaimed. "Did you guys miss me that much?"
They both gave me stares. "Bella, pleaze apoligize to the Keptain." Chekov pleaded. "Ve can not ztand your replazement."
"He almost made me crash into Titian!" Sulu said. "And he made fun of Chekov's accent."
I jaw clenched. As much as I hated Barker, and how much he was hurting my friends, I had to teach Jim a lesson. "I'm sorry guys but Jim should apoligize to me. Because if not, I'm not going back to the bridge. I can not work with him when he is on this vendenate."
"Bella, please." Uhura said. "I had to stop Spock from beating him up."
I laughed out loud. "Oh this should be good. What did Barker say to make Spock so mad?" I asked.
"He exclaimed how hot I looked in this outfit and then procceded to slap my ass." Uhura said with disgust on her face. "Spock saw and Jim and Bones had to step in his way."
"Oh, they should have let Spock beat on him. I would have paid good money to see that." I said clutching my side from laughing to hard.
"But unless I get a sincere aplogie I'm not going to speak to Jim again." I said.
"Well, you're not the only one. Right before the ship took off Scotty quit because he too wouldn't sign for the torpedoes, so now Chekov has his job." Sulu said.
"Scotty quit!?" I asked.
"Yeah, and right now Jim is an emotional wreck." Uhura said. "His mentor died, his chief engineer quit, you wouldn't stick with him, Spock is trying to make him change his mind, and your replacement is annoying the hell out of him. If you have any friendship with him then you'll cut him some slack."
I stood up anger flaring up in me. "You don't think I'm emotional stressed?!" I said almost yelling. "I too lost Pike, I nearly died from a panic attack, I got demotated, and Jim is on a war path on a nice man." I exclaimed. Just then I realized my mistake.
