Chapter 7

Dana's pov

Last night was um.......interesting. Let's just say that Mr.Monroe banned me from seeing his daughter and he yelled, cursed and broke a few glasses. My Mom and dad were pretty angry to when I got home we got into a heated argument about Destinee. But Hey it's not my fault that I love her.

Since I didn't have to go to the studio today I just decided to sit in my room all day and watch tv. I really wanted to call Destinee but I didn't want her to get in trouble. After about 20 minutes I just had to talk to her I couldn't take this anymore.

(Phone convo)

Destinee: Hello?

Dana: Hey Des....how r u

Destinee: I'm fine....I guess. But most importantly how r u.

Dana: I'm okay. Your dad really yelled at me last night. I guess he still hates me for something that happened 5 months ago.

Destinee: Yea I know. I wish he would just stay out of my business I'm 18 for crying out loud Dana.

Dana: I get it babe. Are u at home?

Destinee: yea? Why do u wanna know?

Dana: Cause I wanna come and see you.

Destinee: Dana I don't think that's a good idea...

Dana: And why not? Are your parents home?

Destinee: No they are at work. They don't get back til 11 tonight.

Dana: That's all I needed to hear. I'll see you in 30 minutes my love.

And with that I hung up.....

Sadie's pov

I haven't talked to Dana since last night and I'm beginning to get worried. I mean he should've called me by now. But I should have no reason to worry I mean he loves me and I love him.

I walked downstairs to see my Mom making pancakes. "Good morning mommy" I said

"Good morning Sadie. How'd you sleep?" She asked

"Fine I guess." I said

"What's wrong?" She asked me

"It's Dana." I said looking at my fingers.

"What did he do?" She said.

"He hasn't called me and I haven't seen him since yesterday evening. And I'm getting worried. I wanna sound like an attached girlfriend. But I just have a feeling that something is not right." I said

"I'm sure everything is fine. You know your father used to be like that...it turns out that he was giving me a surprise and wanted it to be a secret." She told me

"Yea your right. I shouldn't worry. I'll just call him later on. Who knows he could be at the studio right now." I said

My Mom just nodded and smiled and we sat on the couch watching movies and eating junk food.

Dana's pov

I was on my way to see Destinee. I put on some white jeans and a black shirt along with my sun glasses and a snapback. I went downstairs and saw my Mom and dad watching a sit com. "Hey guys!" I said

"Where do u think your going Dana?" My dad asked sternly.

"I'm going to Coles house to hang out" I said. This lie was very believable.

"Okay. Be back by 11 Dana!" He said

"I gotchu dad" I said and I walked out the door to my car.
