Iris' POV:
Tap. Tap. Tap
I hear as I slowly wake into consciousness. I look over to see my friend, Jess, outside my window waving.
She opens the door to let herself in while I groan and slam my head back into my pillows. Of course I fucking forgot.
"C'mon Iris, don't wanna be late for your first day," Jess teasingly mocked.
Shut the hell up.
I groaned once again, throwing the blankets off of me and getting up.
I heard Jess laugh as I walked over to my walk-in closet to pick out an outfit.
I looked back to check and see what Jess was wearing, hoping for some inspiration.
Jess was dressed in a black & white Vans muscle tee, high-waisted shorts, (with black tights underneath) and brown combat boots. She had her sandy blonde hair teased a little bit, giving off the messy look.
Smiling I on choosing a similar outfit. I picked out my blue/purple tye-dyed muscle tee, that said 'Far Out,' with an alien underneath it. Instead of high-waisted shorts though, I chose to go with destroyed light-wash skinny jeans, and paired it off with my gray converse.
Deciding to crimp my hair, I made my way into my bathroom and turned on my hair crimper.
While waiting for it to heat up, I began to do my makeup.
After applying all my face makeup, I started on my eyes. Which, basically all I did was create a thick winged eyeliner and put mascara on.
Once my hair and makeup was done, I walked back into my room, screaming because I forgot Jess was there.
"Dear god, you scared the piss out of me!" I yelled.
"Seriously? I live right above you and I always come through your window, you should be used to it."
I just shake my head, grabbing my yin-yang sign backpack and heading towards the door. Looking back, only to see Jess still sitting in my bed.
"Let's go," I said motioning towards the door.
"We've got time," she said, laying back.
"No we don't. We've still gotta pick up Ari, and I want donuts," I said, opening the door.
Groaning, she sat up and walked out of the apartment building with me.
Hopping into my black Chevrolet Malibu, we made our way to Ari's.
*******
I pull up to Ari's house and instantly smiled. I loved Ari's house. It was so beautiful. It was a huge gray brick house with big windows and bright blue shingles.
Ari's father was the CEO of this huge book company which clearly payed very well.
He bought Ari her own car, which she uses, but since sophomore year, we've always ride to school together.
Honking my horn, Jess and I wait for Ari to come out. I turned on the radio as we were waiting.
Centuries by Fall Out Boy comes on I immediately start jamming.
I see Ari out of the corner of my eye and laugh when I see she's screaming the lyrics as well. Guess my music was up a little loud.
One her neighbors yell at us too quiet down and Ari just flips them off.
Ari is wearing a plain white t-shirt with a leather jacket, black skinny jeans, a red flannel around her waist, and black boots.
