Glee: Season 7-Episode 1: "New Beginnings"

Chapter 2: Glee Club Auditions

Will Schuester and Sam Evans walked into the Glee Club classroom amidst cheers and applause from everyone there. "Glee!" Will yelled as everyone cheered. "It's so good to be back." "Oh yeah." Sam chimed in. "As you know we ended up winning Nationals last year, and we're looking to do it again. However, in order to do that, we'll have to be an even tighter unit than last year." WIll explained.

"Mr Schue, I heard they're going to be integrating some schools with ours." Spencer said. "Is that true?" "Yes, it is, and I know some of you may have some reservations about that. Look at it as a chance to not only meet new people, but make new friends, and build new relationships with each other." Will replied.

The Glee club nodded in agreement.

Sam continued, "Now as you know, we have six returning members from our squad last year, but that's not going to be enough for us to field a show choir this year. So, we're opening up the club for auditions."

"I'm in!" said a voice.  "Me too!" said another. "Me three, and P.S. even though I'm not happy about repeating my senior year, it's good to be back with my friends again." Will gave a huge smile as he announced the presence of the three new guests: "Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to introduce to you some of our recent transfers: Marley Rose, Unique Adams, & of course you all know Kitty Wilde."

"Nice to meet you." Madison said to Marley. "The pleasure's all mine." Marley replied nicely. "It's good to see you again Kitty." Spencer said. "You too." Kitty replied.  "Unique, it's great to see you again." Jane said.  "Oh you can say that again sister." Unique said with a chuckle. "Wait! You're not starting this party without me!" said a voice. "Me neither!" said another. All of a sudden, Jake Puckerman & Ryder Lynn walked into the choir room. "Jake!" Marley shouted. "Ryder!" Kitty screamed. The two girls rushed over along with Unique as the newbies shared a group hug.  "Well, it's great to have all of you guys back again." Sam exclaimed with a smile on his face. "Indeed." Will chimed in. "Ladies and gentleman, allow me to introduce to you Jake Puckerman & Ryder Lynn."  "Nice to meet you." Roderick said extending his hand to Ryder. "Same here." Ryder replied nicely.  "Pleasure." said Myron. "Likewise." said Jake.

"Well, that leaves the Glee Club open for one more spot." Mr. Schue explained. "In the meantime however, there is a lesson I want you guys to practice for the week."

"What's that, Mr. Schue?" Kitty asked.  Will wrote a word on the blackboard in chalk: "Empowerment; I want you all to find a song that empowers you, that enables you to feel good, feel strong, feel admired or powerful;  A song that you can sing without fear or regret. You guys can pair up and do duets if you want, but your assignment is due by this Friday." Will instructed. "Good luck everyone." Sam stated.

And that's another chapter. I originally was going to make this one longer, but I figured I'd save a big reveal for the next one!!!
