Kitty and Scott walked to the history room, where Scott locked the door. The two siblings then began to talk:

"If people knew that we were talking, they would think that we're crazy. What do you want?" Kitty asked with a hint of anger in her expression.  "To be honest, I'm not here to rain on your parade or ruin your senior year. I'm here cause I miss my sister."  "Do you really miss me?" Kitty snapped back. "Of course I do." Scott replied.  "Yeah right." Kitty said.  "I do!" Scott exclaimed.  "If you missed me, then why didn't you try and get in touch with me?" Kitty said, tears starting to fall from her eyes. "You didn't write, you didn't call, you didn't even try to send me a message on Facebook. God, it's like you wandered off the face of the earth!" She snapped. "I was in a bad place mentally Kitty. I had dropped out of high school and I was on my own." Scott replied. "I had my own life, my own problems, and my own path to follow. I didn't want to drag you into that."  "So you just walk out of my life completely?" Kitty said.  "Some brother you turned out to be."  "Kitty, we were both in different places at that time in our lives. You were the HBIC here, and loving life. You were happy, jovial, and enjoying your  high status with the school society. I hated it here. I wanted out. I had to make a new start for myself." Scott explained. "So you left me behind?" Kitty said with fury.  "I thought it would be better for you. I thought you would be happy if I wasn't around to worry about." Scott said sadly. "You thought wrong." Kitty said coldly. "Kitty, if I had stayed, what kind of a brother do you think I could have been to you for all those years?"  Scott asked with genuine feeling in his voice.  "Any kind of brother would have been better than none at all." Kitty snapped. "Any kind?" Scott asked sternly.  "Any kind." Kitty snapped back.  "Kitty." Scott said. "Stop! Stop calling me Kitty." Kitty yelled. "Look, I realize that coming back into your life right now might be all too consuming, and I get it. What I did to you was wrong, terrible, self-centered and I should have at least tried to get back in touch with you. The problem is, and this is the honest to goodness truth, I was afraid." Scott said sadly. "Afraid of what?" Kitty said sharply.  "That you wouldn't talk to me." Scott said, tears starting to form in his own eyes.  "That you would say you hated me for what I did to you, you would never want to see me again, and that you wanted me out of your life forever."  Kitty started to sniffle.  "If that's what you want...Katherine..." Scott said, calling Kitty by her real name for the first time in years. "...I want you to look into your brother's eyes before you do it." Scott said removing his sunglasses in front of her, tears ready to pour out from his eyes. "I'm not trying to change your mind; I'm not trying to intrude on your life. I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, that I'm sorry, I love you, and if you will forgive me, I promise that I'll not only make it up to you, but I'll be a better brother to you and I'll never leave you again." Kitty stopped for a moment, tears beginning to fall from her face.  "Do you hate me?" Scott asked, tears ready to fall.  Kitty began to cry, then she stepped forward and embraced her brother as they both started bawling.  "No." Kitty said crying. "I love you Scott. I love you whatever you are."  "I love you too Kitty." Scott said crying as well then embracing her back. "I missed you so much." Kitty said crying.  "I really missed you." Scott replied back crying as well.

The two siblings pulled apart and smiled warmly at each other, then gave each other a tight embrace, knowing that time heals all wounds and that they were finally reunited...at last!!

Awww, I have tears in my eyes after this heartfelt reunion. This was a chapter I REALLY wanted to write. I've been building up the suspense for these two siblings to reconcile and reunite, and now that they have, all I have to say is...WOW!
