"A wolf?" she said.

He nodded his head slowly. "I know it sounds weird but it's true. Those guys that's always after me. They're hunters. They're actually trying to kill me."

"Because you're a wolf" she finished for him.

"That person in the picture is actually my mentor" he kept explaining.

Ah Reum didn't know whether he was joking or he was serious. What scared her the most was that his life was in danger. "Why can't you give the mark back?" she asked.

"I can't. I accepted it, there's no giving it back. But why aren't you scared?"

"Because I promised I won't be. Aren't you? To know that people will be after you everyday?"

He smiled and said "I'm used to it." She studied him for a second before she gave an assuring smile. "Do you have anything to eat. I'm hungry" she said.

"I have some noodle pac."

"Even better" she said as she went to the kitchen. He walked with her as she kept asking more questions about him being a wolf and if anyone can be one. "I should get going. I'm already late" she said as she stood up.

"I'll walk you out" he said as they were walking to the door. When they got to the gate they saw Kai. "Oppa" she said.

"Shouldn't you be home?" he asked her.

"I was just leaving" she said to him. She looked at Luhan and waved to him as she left. None of them knew that Luhan's attackers were taking pictures of them.

Kai reached for Luhan's collar as he pushed him against the wall. "What'd I tell you?"

"I didn't hurt her" he defended himself. Luhan looked at him with a questioning look before asking "Do you like her? Is that why you're being too persistent?"

"I am persistent and I do like her."

Kai reluctantly let go of Luhan's shirt who was a bit taken back because he had expected Kai to punch him. Kai turned around to recollect himself. As he turned to Luhan he threw a punch at him. "That's for D.O" he said before leaving.

Ah Reum was walking home when she felt like she was being followed. It's been happening since a couple of blocks. As she got to the tunnel they gained on her, covered her mouth as they dragged her away.

"Luhan. I have you little girlfriend" the leader said as he was walking around with his phone too his ears. Ah Reum was being held by one of the guys. "Why should I believe you?" Luhan said over the phone. Just then Ah Reum reached for her phone as she pressed a number. The leader nudge the guy to let go of her mouth as he put the phone near her. "It's a trap" she screamed as the guy held her back. He put it back to his ear and said "She's feisty. You know where to come. Same place" and hanged up.

At the hospital...

"They said I was recovering great so I get to leave tomorrow" D.O boasted.

"Why would you want to leave. Some of the nurses are hot" Chanyeol said.

Just then Kai's phone started to ring. He answered it as he put it to his ear. His face changed when he heard her scream. The phone cut off. "What happened?" Xiumin asked.

"Ah Reum. She's in trouble" he answered.

"Trouble? What kind of trouble?" Suho asked concerned.

"Big trouble. We have to go" he said as he ran out the hospital room with the guys. D.O who was bedridden felt helpless at that moment.

Luhan walked in as his eyes scanned the room, he saw Ah Reum being held by two guys. "I'm here. Now let go of her" he said.

"Now that wouldn't be fun. I'm surprised you came alone. Where's the rest of your clan? But then again after that stunt you pulled. I wouldn't be here either" he said as he coaxed his head. Luhan growled a bit as he took a step forward. "Are we here to talk? Or fight?"

"Persistent aren't we. Okay then" he said as he motioned for his guys to come forward and attack. Luhan looked around as they were all approaching him.

The rest of the guys just arrived outside the place as the heard grunts. "Let's go" Sehun said as he was about to go in but stopped when no one else was moving. "Why are you guys just standing around. Ah Reum's in there."

"It's not that. Look" Chen said as he pointed to the sky where a full moon was shining bright. Sehun looked confused. Just then they heard something break and they ran in. They expected Luhan to be beaten up but he was fine as he was taking them down. "Should we help him?" Tao asked.

"Let's make it fair" Lay said as they ran to help him.

Ah Reum was watching defensively from behind the scenes as the leader was holding her back. "Why don't you stop moving around and watch" he said.

"Why don't you drop dead" she spat at him.

Luhan got to him. "Ah, ah, ah. You touch me and your girl gets it" he said as he pulled her foreword. "Please" she cried at Luhan. He held his fist in the air as he looked at her. Behind him a guy came and hit him in the back of the head with a metal pipe. "No" she cried as she tried to run towards him. The guy let go of her as she ran towards him. "Wake up. Please wake up" she cried. The guys ran towards him as they surrounded him. His attackers all left. She began crying, as his mark disappeared as his hair turned black. He opened his eyes and saw them all around him. "Thank goodness you're alive" she said as she hugged him.

Kris walked in Luhan's room and broke the picture case in anger. He looked around as he saw the umbrella Ah Reum had. He picked it up and growled.
