I saw your light

I remember,
When I loved you,
When you loved me.
If I held you,
You held me titer.

Your smile made my soul shine.

But now the night has come,
And you are gone.
With God I hope,
Whith peace, I know.

I kept running,
Even if it hurt like hell.
After the sadness and the mourning came anger,
Then an absolution.

So I looked up to the sky,
That night before saying goodbye.
Heart revenged.
And you, my star, you shined for me.
I can imagine your smile again,
Brighter than the moon.

Tears of joy came, like hope again.

Thank God you were here.
