Lucy & Josephine must have came later in the night with our food. I could smell it as I began to wake up. It's 3:56 in the afternoon and I'm starving. Austin had fallen fast asleep on my head and he was tightly holding my hand. Seeing a nurse at the end of my bed I call her over.
"Nurse?"
"Yes?"
"May you please help me off my bed so he can sleep?"
The nurse looked me confused. But she agreed. She released the guard rail closest to me. I began to push myself to the edge of the bed and I sat up. This time it didn't hurt as much. As I did so, she shifted him off me and into a more better sleeping position. When she was finished she walked over to me, unhooked me from the no more needed IV and helped me off the bed into a recliner chair over by the window.
"So" she began "Is that your boyfriend?" She asked pulling a chair up next to me. She had to be in her mid 40's.
"Oh no, no. He's like...err, a friend. See what happened is he accidentally pushed me and I got hurt. So he stayed here with me. That's all. Why do you ask?"
"When I came to check on you last night, you were fast asleep on his chest. He helped me change your bandage & I stayed to finish filling in your medical report. He was talking very highly of you"
I began to blush. How could someone speak so highly of me when we just met? "What was he saying?"
The nurse smirked "I promised I wouldn't say." Her pager went off and she explained how she would be right back with my medication. I turn on the tv to pass some time since Austin is still asleep. The nurse returns with my medicine and my lunch. I eat and I zone out watching Maury.
•••••An hour later•••••
"Jailyn?"
I look over and see Austin beginning to wake up.
"How'd you get over there?" He ask as he stretches.
"A nurse came in and helped me out of the bed. I asked her to move me so you could still sleep" I pause to stare in his eyes "apparently the same one from last night" I say smirking.
Austin catches my drift and begins to blush "What did she tell you?"
"Oh honestly nothing. Just that you were speaking of me very highly" I say as get out of my chair and walk to the bed. Wow, its not as hard to walk anymore. Thank god. I didn't want anymore assistant.
Austin sat up in the bed and shifts his body allowing me to sit in between his legs when I reach the bed. "Did she say what I told her?" He asks quietly.
"No, she's a lady of her word" I say as I lay back in the bed between him. "But I'd love to know, if you're willing to share".
"It's a secret, you'll realize what it is soon" he says. I notice him look at the flowers. He reaches over grabs one. "Do you remember the game that little kids would do with flowers pedals? Peeling them off saying he loves me, he loves me not?
"Yes, what about it?"
"Take this flower and play this game, if you get he loves me not let me show you that it's wrong"
"How could you love me?"
" I don't love you. I have...have..." Austin was choking up. "I have feelings for you. If the flower says I don't let me prove you wrong"
"Oh I see what you mean. So wait, if the flower says he loves me not...are you asking me out on a date?"
"Yes once you get out of the hospital, I want to take you out on a nice date"
I turn my body around so that I'm sitting like a pretzel in front of Austin. I stare into his eyes, taking my hand I trace his jawline. His skin is so soft and I can feel his stubble. It makes me giggle. I notice him bite his lip. I know he wants me to kiss him. "Oh what the heck" I say. I toss the flower and grab his face and kiss him very passionately. He slides his hands underneath my butt and brings me to my knees. Holding my back with support, he pulls away and kisses my neck multiple times. "You smell like hospital" he says looking me in my eyes after kissing my neck. "And you smell like sweat" I say giggling. He kisses my lips gently and pulls me into his arms so he's holding me like a baby. "I'll play the flower game later, I promise" I say.
The nurse walks back in, looks at us and laughs. "Am I interrupting?"
I look at Austin. "No, not at all." He says and he puts me back in between his legs.
Another nurse walks in with 2 bags of clothes.
"The doctor says you have made great improvement and that we are going to release you today." Says the first nurse
"But you'll be put on bed rest for the weekend" says the second nurse as she hands me the bags of clothes.
As the nurses leave, I open the first bag of clothes there's a letter inside:
Dear Jailyn,
My parents are having a cocktail party. Please wear this. A limo will be at the hospital at quarter of 6 to pick you and Austin up.

"Well isn't that sweet." Austin says
I look up at the clock 5:30pm.
"Very. I wonder what he bought us. We have no time to waste. We have 15 mins to get ready " I say. I pull out three boxes. One with my name. Two with Austin's name. The other bag must be shoes.
"I'm going to get dressed." I say taking my box into the bathroom in my room.
I slip off all my dirty clothes praying he bought me a bra and some underwear too. I rip open the box. "Well this is very sexy" I pull out a lace bra and underwear. I quickly throw it on.
Knock knock
"Almost done!" I yell
"Shoes are at the door, just slip them on!" Austin replies.
I remove the other layer of tissue paper and see a beautiful short sequin purple dress. I slip my feet into the dress, over my hips and chest and onto my shoulders. Luckily I'm flexible enough an I zipper up my dress. It fits perfectly, showing off my nice figure eight body. I open the door, slip on the black flats and walk out.
"Oh my gosh." We both say.
"You look amazing Austin" I say. Gawking at his cute white button down shirt, purple bow and dress pants. It fits his athletic figure just right.
"Jailyn, you look astounding!"
He clears his thoart
"Shall we?" He says reaching for my hand.
"We shall" I say blushing. Talking his hand we walk out the room. I see our moms standing at the doorway at the end of the hall waiting to go in and grab our stuff from the room.
"We will both meet you at the restaurant in an hour" Lucy says.
Austin nods as we make our way down the hall and to the elevator. I let go of his hand as he presses the button. We get into the elevator. He places his hand in pockets and I press M for Main. A few second later, the elevator dings and the door opens. We get out the elevator at the same time. I reach for his hand.
"You ready" I ask
"Yes." He says
We walk through the lobby and out the doorway to see a beautiful white limo.
"I wonder what the nurses are saying" Austin jokes as he stops the chauffeur and opens my door himself for me. I slide in all the way.
"I'm not sure. But I so know they're jealous" I say as he slides in next to me and puts his hand on my lap.
