Amy Santiago-Y/N-The Vest Part 2

You heard beeping... You heard crying... You heard people talking... You didn't know where you were.

As you finnaly decided to open your eyes you saw a familiar dark brown mess of hair on your knees, Amy, you knew she always stress braided, you saw a glimpse of darkness. You looked at the chair next to your bed where you saw a vast collection of machines with wires that ran to your IV, but also, you saw Rosa bent over, you noticed she had her head in her hands, you had never seen her like this before, she was sobbing loudly and had a box of tissues at her feet, she had changed out of her tactical gear and was wearing the black leather jacket she wore when she was depressed, her maroon unitard, black jeans, black boots, and you couldn't help but notice these weren't just any black boots, these were the ones you gave her for secret santa... She was worried about you...

You didn't know what to do, so you just tapped her shoulder lightly and gave it a rub, you noticed the anaesthesia was wearing of so it was slightly uncomfortable to bend sideways, she immediately looked up, smiling, she hugged you, her warm arms felt comfortable around your shoulders that were so weak, then she woke Amy up, she instantly started crying tears of joy, she had her best friend back.

After a half hour of crying with happiness, getting caught up, and having your 2 best friends obsess over you, you finnaly got to ask the question that had been naggling at your mind the whole time “When can I come back to work?” you asked, slightly scared that it would be months, years even, untill you could go back to the way things were, but you couldn't help but notice that this only brought concern to the girls faces “Erm... Captain Holt said 2 months... But you can take as long as you want.” Amy proposed
“No, i wanna go back as soon as possible, i will come back in 2 months.” You said, making your mind up “Just, dont go back untill you have fully healed, look, I'm gonna stay at the hospital with you and Amy is gonna visit everyday while you are in here, oh and by the way you have to spend 2 weeks here.”
“That sounds fair, but i really think i can make a fast recovery, thank you so much you two, i freakin love you two!” You agreed as you all shared a group hug, and in that moment, you knew everything would be just fine, no matter what.
