~{ Flower Fall }~

~{ S O R R Y }~

Matt walked through the halls of the school finding and kicking out any lingering students that were there.

Footsteps echoed through the empty halls of the school.

  Matt heard giggling and walked to the sound, two girls had trapped another smaller girl and had her tearing up. "Hey! You need to leave" Matt said inserting his authority as a respected member of the student council.

The girls giggled "Yes sir~" .

Matt starred at them blankly "Go on!", they ran to the exit.

Matt had a resting face of an annoyed guy.  "Are you okay?" he asked the girl that was crying. The girl looked up at him "y-yeah" she said nervous, Matt was one of the less forgiving student council members.

"I-i better leave too.." She said rushing away. Matt looked at her as she left then kept checking his floor.

He sighed and left the school, Matt hopped into his car and started his drive.

A girl stood at the bus stop shivering cold, she was waiting for a bus. two buses had already went.

The girl looked familiar to him. Didn't he just see her?

Matt thought for a second before pulling over "Do you need a ride?... I wouldn't want you to get sick" he said nicely.

The girl smiled "Yeah... thanks" she said opening the car and getting in.

"here... put your address in" he said handing her his phone that was already opened to maps. She put his address in and handed it back.

Other than the not so loud music the car was filled with awkward silence. Matt's aggravated expression didn't help.

The clean car pulled into the drive way of her house and she hopped out "Thanks for the ride" she smiles and shuts the door skipping to the door.

Someone had their head sticking out of the curtain in the window, their expression was surprised.

Matt had pulled into the drive and way parked by the time he got hungry.

When he walked in he smelled food.

"Welcome home Mathew dear" his mother said happily as she stirred the soup.

Mathew tilted his head in confusion 'shes being nice?'.

His mother picked up the ladle and dumped him a bowl of soup. She looked back at him smiling but when she looked away she had the look of guilt on her face as she dropped something into the bowl of soup.

The bowl steamed as she slid it over the table to Matt.

Matt ate the soup not wanting to ruin his moms rare mood. "This is good" he said enthusiastically.

He finished the soup and got up to put the bowl in the sink when his mother had stopped him.

"You know i love you right?" she said holding his face. Matt nodded "Yea--" He choked up on something and tears welled up in his eyes.

"M---mo"

His cries were silenced by a thump on the ground.

"I'm so very sorry Mathew" His mother said tearing up.

"So very sorry..."
