~{ Flower Fall }~

~{ F E E L I N G }~

Matt jolted awake with his hand on his heart "A... Dream?" he asked himself.

He shuffled to his bedroom bathroom and looked in the mirror. A flower sat in his hair "Hm.. " he plucked it out and winced in pain.

He choked up blood and some petals "W-Wha--" He coughed.

"Whats happening...?"

Matt wiped the blood from his mouth and as he looked at the flowers in his hair.

His phone pinged and he checked it "Oh shit!--" he said running to his closet to get a sweatshirt and put on jeans.

He ran into the school with his hair messy and flowers blooming in it. Walking into the office he started to explain "Sorry.... i stayed up taking care of my mother last night" He lied.

The lady smiled "Aw..." she wrote him a pass "Here... i hope your mom gets better soon".

"yeah..."

Matt walked out of the office and to his class. When he walked in his teacher looked at him "Pass?" She asked. He showed his pass and sat down in his desk located in the back of the room.

Students whispered to themselves while glancing at Matt.

Matt sighed as listened to the lesson while also writing down notes.

The bell rang and people jumped up and flooded out of class. Matt however walked behind the crowds. 

"Hey Mattie~" a girl from the previous day said to him.

"You got a little something in your hair~" She said while reaching for his hair. Matt widened his eyes " No--"

He was too late and the girl had plucked the flower from his hair.

Matt turned around and hunched down with his hands on the desk coughing blood and petals.

The girl and teacher looked at him with alarm "Mathew!" the teacher exclaimed worried.

"Im f-fi---" he coughed more.

The teacher helped him to his feet and walked him to the nurse. "Thio!" She called for the doctor

"Yes?--" He was surprised by the blood on the blondes shirt and mouth.

Matt was swiped away by the nurse "Mathew?!" She said concerned.

He said nothing and looked and the nurse.

The nurse took him to the bed at the end of the room that was barely used by anyone. He opened the curtain and gently put him on the bed.

Matt laid in the infirmary with his eyes closed and breathing steadily.

"Mathew?" the littler girls voice from the day before.

Matt opened his eyes and looked at her "What?".  The girl played with her thumbs nervously "Are you okay?" she asked.

He laid there for a second before closing his eyes again "I'm fine" he scoffed. Matt didn't like to be doubted

"Well... is sure doesn't look like your fine" She says "Oh and my name is Aria"

Aria sat up and left smiling. "Get better soon" she says while half in the infirmary.

Matt watched her leave and felt sad when she was gone.

'Why do i feel this way?' He thinks to himself.

'What is this?'
