I rubbed my temple as Trent and I stepped into the great hall. "I have a good feeling about five years in a row, Oliver." he said excitedly, "I think I didn't lose as many house points as last year, so we should be in the clear!"

"Whoever wins, I just want to get it over with. I have such a headache from taking that memory potion." I looked at our house table, everyone was dressed in their green and black robes, eagerly awaiting to hear who won the house cup. Dumbledore walked up to the podium as the last of us took our seats, turning our focus up to him.

"What a wonderful year this has been. Looking back at all of you reminds me, that each and every one of you here today has left such an impact here at Hogwarts. This school simply wouldn't be what it is without students who help others as I've seen all of you do. There may have been a few bumps in the road, but we all can agree that we are leaving here with new friendships. I wanted to say how proud I am of some of you, those who went above and beyond in their personal quests for upholding the moral fiber of this school. It takes a lot of bravery to stand up for something, but you are never standing alone. This is why I wanted to award a few last minute points."

"Oh, we have this in the bag, Oliver," Trent whispered to me

"For being one of the most welcoming and helpful students to our visiting schools, and making more than their fair share of students feel greatly accepted here at Hogwarts, I award Mallory Cavendish of Ravenclaw, twenty points."

Mallory's face lit up as her table began to cheer for her, a boy sitting next to her ruffled her hair so much that her bow untied.

"For reporting an otherwise deadly incident, which lead to the ability to save the life of a faculty member, I award Gregory Fallin of Gryffindor, thirty points."

The Gryffindor house table roared with applause, giving Gregory pats on the back. He grimaced as his housemates cheered for him.

"And for the incredibly ambitious and courageous act of saving the life of said faculty member, I award Oliver Evans of Slytherin, fifty points."

My eyes widened as I felt a smack on the back of my head from Trent, who was cheering loudly in my ear with the rest of the table. I saw students clanking their goblets together and bouncing in their seats with joy. I saw professor Snape from the high table shoot me a pleased look.

"Now to announce which house was victorious in this year's house cup." he held his hands together, "In fourth place, with six hundred forty-two points...Hufflepuff!" We all cheered for the Hufflepuff table, which looked rather disappointed to hear they had only placed fourth. "In third place, with eight hundred fifty points...Gryffindor!"

I noticed that Gregory rolled his eyes as the others at his table clapped with a little less enthusiasm than expected. "The last two houses are only five points apart. This year for Ravenclaw and Slytherin was very good, but only one house can be the winner."

"This is so nerve wracking!" Trent said shaking my side

"In second place, with nine hundred ninety-five points...Slytherin!"

"No!" Trent screamed along with the others at our table

"Which means in first place, with one thousand points...Ravenclaw! Ravenclaw has won the house cup!"

The Ravenclaw table erupted with cheers and applause, their hats all flew up into the air, nearly hitting the candles that floated above. I saw Mallory waving her arms with her friends in celebration, she looked over at us and gave us a wide smile. Trent's face was incredibly crestfallen as our table was shaking their heads and shooting the Ravenclaw table dirty looks.
