Betty's POV
I look at the time ~1:43pm~ we've been here for more than 6 hours, and I was only 6 centimeters dilated. Jughead was rubbing my hand while he was holding it. I noticed that he was bouncing his leg up and down, which he only does when he's nervous. "Why are you nervous?" I say looking over to him. "I'm about to become a father baby. I'm just-In disbelief." He says. I smile at him and he smiles back, but then Dr. Alison comes in. "Betty, you are now 7 centimeters dilated, do you need anything? Anyone in particular to come in, ice chips, anything at all?" She asks. "No thank you, I'm okay" I say, she nods. She leaves the room and I look over to jughead. "I can't believe that we're finally meeting them jug." I says "I can't believe it either" He says. He puts his hand on my stomach, which makes me smile. I can't believe that soon I'm gonna be able to hold them.
~3:27pm~
"Betty, you need to push!" Dr Alison yells. I push and I yell. "Hey, it's okay. Jules is almost here." Jughead says. I squeeze his hand as hard as I can and I push. Veronica is in there. The others are in the waiting room. "Okay, one more push and we'll have baby number 1" Dr Alison says, I push again and the room fills with crying. I tear rolls down my cheek, but it's a happy tear. The nurses take her and get her clean. "Okay, another push, and we'll have baby number 2." Dr Allison says. I push, but the room doesn't fill with crying, it's silent beside the whimpers from Juliet. I see them take Rose over, and they cut something. There's nothing, no noise, no cries, just silence. Dr Allison hands me Juliet. I look down at her, she's so precious. But I'm very concerned about the Rose. Where is she? Is she okay? I just wanna know what's going on. Jughead stands up and walks over to where they are, but before he can get there, a nurse pulls him aside.
I couldn't hear anything, I started panicking.i tried to get up, but then realized I was still holding juliet, so I stopped moving and let her sleep. He came over to me, there were tears in his eyes, that wasn't a good sign because jughead never cries. "What happened Jug? Please tell me! What happened" I yell, making Juliet flinch. I lower my voice after noticing this. "Um-uh...they tried everything but it was too late, I'm so sorry baby" he said in a low voice. "W-what do you mean? Where is she? Where's Rose?" I say as a tear rolls down my cheek. "Her umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck, she um-she didn't make it." He said starting to ball, as did I. Veronica took Juliet from me and I hugged jughead. I can't believe my baby was gone, I didn't even get to meet her
(Wow, that was a tear jerker. I'm sorry I haven't been updated, school has been horrible...and k-12 came out! I'm so happy! I cant believe it's finally here!-melsslbbh)
