Chapter 1 A Dreaded Discovery

It was a late Friday night in New York, There was a big party going on for the Wilson family on their holiday in one of the newest hotels. Emily and Eddy were on the back deck talking to there twin cousin Maddison and Mason while their parents were inside partying and catching up with the rest of the adults. Maddison and Emily were talking about school and their first year in high school meanwhile Eddy and Mason were talking about how to build a car. After about 14 minutes of talking, Emily went to the toilet, so Maddison started talking with the boys. Maddison was getting curious why Emily was taking so long in the toilet and then she thought that Emily had gone inside to her Mum and Dad. The next morning everyone woke up in their hotel rooms but for some strange reason Emily wasn't there, she wasn't in the toilet, bedroom, kitchen or Maddison and Masons hotel room, she was nowhere to be found. Emma (Emily and Eddys Mum) was really worried about her little girl, then she found a note  on the kitchen bench, it said "If you want your little girl back you have to go were these notes take you, first of all, you must go where you had your first dinner here."  Emma showed the note to Eddy and Ethan(Emily and Eddys Dad), Eddy remembered immediately where that was "Its Craft that's the first place we had dinner" said Eddy, so they all got a taxi to Craft. Upon arriving at Craft restaurant, they were anxious and hopeful that their little girl would be waiting there. To their dismay, there was only a note attached to the handle of the door. With tears streaming down Emma's face, her voice cracked as she read the next note. " You are one step closer to finding your little girl, now make your way to the woman with the torch." They were thinking for a moment of what could it possibly be and then it came to them "The Statue Of Liberty", so they got into another taxi and made their way to The Statue Of Liberty. Traffic was light and in no time, they had come to an abrupt stop just in front of Lady Liberty. They scoured the area for anyone who looked suspicious and obviously, was with Emily. They decided to divide and conquer, where half of them were looking for Emily and the other half were looking for another clue. They agreed to meet back in an hour to discuss their findings. An hour passed and they all met back at the designated spot. Mason told them that he found another note attached to a rose bush, Emily's favorite flower and began reading the note out loud, " I see that you are all eager to find Emily but it's not that easy, wait for my call at sundown today and do not think about taking this to the police." With fear written all over their faces, the group made their way back to the hotel and anxiously waited for the call.
