I walked on the streets to my modeling agency as fast as I could, as you could probably tell, i'm a bit late. " Excuse me. " I tried saying politely while pushing everyone out of the way. The streets were so packed at the time in the morning, everyone was in such a hurry. I looked at my phone and saw what time it was, oh I was early. I started walking again and walked straight in the middle of someone, I looked up from my phone and lifted my head since I was pretty short.
" I'm sorry. I'm just getting to work. " I tried to laugh and then I realized who it was.
He realized I remembered him. He did his half smile that everyone adored. It was Jaime Preciado.
" Well, You came back from hell so early? " I rolled my eyes and started walking again.
Jaime and I dated in High School for awhile, it was like that small High School love where you think they're the one. Then on the day of our 1 year anniversary, I walked in on him having sex with another girl. "
I've never yelled at guy that bad ever since.
He started to walk up to me and began walking with me. I rolled my eyes.
" Please, Let me talk to you. " Jaime said.
I didn't want anything to do with him, as I knew all I would just fall in love with him, all over again. It kind of sucks loving someone in High School because you're at the point where you're going to break easily, you know? You don't know where you gonna go in life, and you're still trying to figure out who you really are. And heartbreaks aren't a good bonus on being a teenager.
The incident was maybe 10 years ago? You can tell I don't forgive easily. I was 17 and he was 18 at the time, leaving me at 26 and him at 27. I've dated 8 guys in the past 10 years, some that lasted a few months and some that lasted longer. And Jaime being in Pierce The Veil, a band i'm completely in love with, probably didn't date and just found a couple of girls to pick up... and you know the rest.
" Fuck off. " I mumbled to Jaime.
He smirked at me. " Come on, I know you miss me. "
Hell yeah I did, you were my fucking High School love, you just don't throw those down the drain.
I looked to my right and just in time I was here.
" You're a model now? Not surprised. You have the perfect face an- "
I turned around only to see him look at my ass. " I've been modeling for awhile. I have a job to do, and you have a life you should probably carry on with. "
He blew me a kiss. " See you later. " And he walked down the street.
After work
I opened the door from the building and walked back onto the street and asked for a taxi home.
I felt my phone vibrate and pulled it out of my purse.

I put my phone into my bag and got out of the taxi to go into my apartment. It wasn't a bad apartment, it was one of those expensive ones that wasn't really worth my money, to be honest. I put my bag onto the couch and picked up my phone, 5pm.
