Chapter 6

Max's POV:
I struggled to get out of the slender figures grasp as he slung me over his shoulder. I looked down at his shirt to see it was a deep green instead of a pure white. I sighed in relief when I noticed it was David instead of Daniel who had a hold of me but I didn't let my guard down. I was ready for a fight if Daniel was to burst in.

I got put down on a bed in the councillors cabin. David stared at me with a mixture of confusion and faint anger in his eyes. I stared at David until he spoke up.

"What was that about?" He questioned as he impatiently tapped his foot.

"Daniel has 'purified' Y/N." I huffed as I crossed my arms angrily. He nodded his head as he listened to me ramble on about how much I wanted to murder Daniel and have the normal Y/N back. I felt like talking to David was the only thing that kept me from driving to murder. I'd never admit it, though.

"Huh... well, why don't you show how much you care for Y/N? That ought to get her back to her normal self." David beamed a smile while I looked out the window to see Y/N talking to Preston asif nothing had happened to her. Preston was obviously uncomfortable with her fake smile that Daniel had put on her. Can't blame him.

"And how will I do that?" I cocked an eyebrow at David while he kept his beaming smile on his face.

"Why don't you kiss her? That'll show her how much you care." He responded. I felt my entire face heat up at his comment.

"F-fine. But it doesn't mean anything..." I muttered while hiding my blush. David ruffled my hair and walked out of the councillors cabin with me trailing behind.

Neil's POV:
Max is acting weird. I tried to ask him what was going on but he told me 'Everything was fine' and then he went into the Councillors cabin.

"Max started talking yet?" Nikki questioned biting into a chocolate bar. She munched and munched.

"No..." I mumbled as Nikki pat my shoulder. When Nikki was done patting me, Max snuck past us and went to where Y/N was standing. She was still corrupted by Daniel and Max had been trying everything to get her back.
I watched, waiting for Max to give up and storm off but no. He did something he never would have done.

Max's POV:
After my conversation with David, I had gathered enough courage to do it. I was gonna show her how much I cared for her by kissing her.

I walked over to the 'Daniel-Lover' Y/N and started up a normal conversation with her. I acted like nothing was wrong and treat her like I would if she wasn't on Daniel's side. Then I grabbed her arms, squeezed my eyes shut and smashed my lips onto hers. I wasn't expecting anything back. Just to get the original, perfect Y/N back but then I felt her kiss back. I opened my eyes to see Y/N back in her original colours and I felt my cheeks light up with blush.

Y/N opened her eyes and stopped kissing. I stopped too and we just smiled at eachother. Then I felt a tug at my sleeve. It was Daniel.

"Ugh. I need to get rid of YOU, don't I, Max?" Daniel growled through gritted teeth.

"No. You just need to have better plans to manipulate an entire camp. And not just go after one person." I scoffed and crossed my arms. I heard Daniel grumble something then walk away. Wonder where hes going now.

Ayyyyy a chapter. Sorry I haven't been posting much. School has started ;-;. Although I do get to have my phone out in social times, I don't have the chance to update a chapter and I will feel awkward if I start updating with other people around me. I hope to see ya all soon.
