Thea's POV

The whole week, every day seemed like a decade.

I'm not even joking.

Example, you have a favorite tv show and you have just finished the latest episode so you have to wait until next week.

It's so frustrating!!!

I felt like my mind was being burned and all I could think about was Rosalie and Estel!

I never thought I'd be such a fangirl...

It was finally friday and Becca refused to tell me anymore until I finished my schoolwork.

I waited, my hands shivering while glancing at the clock every two seconds. My teacher even asked me at one point if I was okay and if I needed to get out of class to 'cool down'.

For some reason Bruce was absent for the whole week, which was bad because he's new and he's still making an impression on the school. He might be requested for transfer if he doesn't have a good reasonable excuse.

Then I heard it,

The school bell ringing.

It came to me like a choir of angels. I was the first to rush out of the room.

I was already halfway to the gates when I noticed something. "Dammit!"

I forgot my school bag.

I turned around and saw a stampede. Of people. Literally.

I groaned before running into the crowd, hitting a bunch of people on the way.

"Excuse me!"

"Sorry!"

"Idiot, watch where you're going!"

When I finally made it to the classroom, I was panting and my shirt clung to me as if my life depended on it and beads of sweat were forming at my temples.

I went inside, knowing that my teacher had already left so I didn't bother knocking. I gathered my belongings before finally standing up.

"Thea, this is what you get for being in such a hurry." I scolded myself.

"You know everytime I see you, you seem more and more like a mental person."

In my surprise, I squeaked and dropped my bags, literally squeaked. I turned around to find no other than Bruce.

"You scared the hell out of me! Where have you been?!" I asked, almost yelling at him. Okay, maybe I was yelling at him.

"Researching." He answered simply, not bothered by the fact that smoke was already coming from my ears.

He didn't even say sorry.

"Researching about what?!" He smirked and even though I absolutely had no hint or percentage in my body that was attracted to him, I am ashamed to say that my heart skipped a beat.

He's right I am becoming more and more mental.

And it was all his fault.

"Forget it." I told him, still mad that he surprised me and didn't tell me exactly where he was.

Not that I cared.

"I know who killed Estel's parents."

I froze and turned to face him.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" I asked him, feeling my brain melt and I knew that I needed to know if I really heard what I just heard.

"I'm pretty sure we speak the same language and I'm also pretty sure that you're not deaf. Don't make me repeat myself." He answered snarkily.

"Who?" I asked him.

"I'll tell you next time. I'm pretty sure that you'll be pretty shocked by who gave the command and hired an asassin to kill them." He told me before stalking off.

What the hell?

"Becca!!!" I yelled as I entered the house, slamming the door behind me and locked it.

"Thea? Is that you? Who on eart it Becca?" I gasped when I heard the familiar voice of my father.

"Dad?"

"I'm in the kitchen."

Sure enough, I found my father sitting by one of the counters with a glass of wine in his hand as he texted someone on the other hand.

Probably business related.

He smiled at me and set down his wine glass and held out his arms, waiting for a hug. I smiled back before running into him.

"How've you been, bud?" He asked me, his silver eyes which I inherited held exhaustion yet it still twinkled with happiness.

"I've been good, Dad. Where's Mom?" I asked with hope that maybe my mother came too.

"Sorry bud, she couldn't come. Something came up on her side of work." He frowned.

I nodded, accepting that fact. I mean, it wasn't surprising, my parents were almost never home because of their jobs. Atleast I knew that my mom was alive and healthy... unlike Bruce...

I wonder how his mother's fairing...

I was so overwhelmed that Dad was home for once that I almost forgot about Rebecca.

Keyword: Almost

"I'm going to cook dinner. Sound good, bud?" My dad said, grinning at me and I smiled like a maniac, my dad cooked amazingly! I'm surprised he didn't become a chef.

He calls me bud because in the ultrasound they thought I was a boy so my dad immediately nicknamed me that. He said he always called me that while rubbing mom's tummy while she was pregnant so I guess it stuck.

"Sounds good, Dad." I told him before running upstairs.

Becca, where are you?! I need to know who killed Estel's parents!

Was my only thought as I raced up the stairs.

A/N:

Hai shreakols! Long time no update! I don't have any council excuse so sue me but you can't kill me because by then, you wouldn't know the ending, eh? ;))

I piss people off on a daily basis so yah...

I also tried another chappie without any constant 3rd POV add-ins, which is better? With or without?
