"Challenger..... Your challenge awaits.... As I call for the other side." Whispered Allister. His voice echoed through the empty room but clinged to it, as if bouncing off the walls as graceful as a Mespirit gliding on its chosen lake. He felt a presence of wind mixed with the dread of fear surround him. It obviously wasn't a challenger.
"Father....?" He slowly ask, raising his head, to his reveal, another man with a mask just like his but the man was bigger, better, and stronger. The mask of ice, or so what they called him. He made an evil grin and advanced towards Allister.
"Don't think you'll get a challenger so soon. Galar has just recently been discovered. People from all over the world are coming soon, not yet." The man said, attempting to remove Allisters mask. He quickly jolted back, his hands not coming even a centimeter off the ceramic.
"No... Father. I feel only emptiness without the only thing that reminds me of...."
"Your brother? Silver? The boy I kidnapped long ago? He's most likely gone. Disappeared from the world hopefully. Just like you and I did." The man could see Allisters purple eyes shining at him.
"Don't.... Compare me to you..... Silver is NOT gone..... He's out there. I know it." Allister said. He stormed out of his gym, his footstep vocals traveling behind him as Mimikyu questioned him in a ghostly language.
"Let's go, Mimikyu."
As Allister stepped outside, the voices of the man echoed in his head, banging on the walls to get out.
Shehiniu cemetery, Jhoto region. (9/16/05)
Silver was sitting in front of a certain tombstone. As if waiting for the haunting soul to come out and greet him to their new home. He talked and talked. The moon getting brighter by the hour didn't stop him. The sapphire color of moonlight bounced off his Weaviles claws as he sat down next to Silver.
"This is my Weavile, mom. He's the Sneasle you caught me when I was born." He said petting Weavile on the head. "You remember Green. She helped me evolve him. She's amazing. You are to." Said Silver, smiling at the thought of seeing Green again. He gazed up at the sky, which was getting filled with black fog. He stood up and dusted his sweater.
"Well mom it's getting late. Better be off. Don't let anybody disturb the peace ok?" He commented, stroking the tomb. Then he heard a voice behind him whispering.
"Silver...."
He jolted.
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!" He screamed. A girl covered his mouth.
"Why would you whisper on my ear like that?!" He silently yelled. She made a confused look.
"You told your mom to make sure no one disturbs the peace. So I whispered." She said, picking up her Banette.
He sighed, hanging his head low.
"How have you been, Casper?" He asked the girl. She smiled.
"Still trying to find Allister. He misses you. And you know what happens if he gets too upset. Things can get extremely ugly. You?"
"I've been fine. Talking to mom takes away all my worries, you know?" Casper nodded.
"I think I fully understand. Both of my parents are dead." She said, pointing to two tombstones next to Silvers. They read,
"Judy and Dan Kalamar. The ghosts in everyone's memories." Silver stared at them blankly and questioned.
"The ghosts in everyone's memories? Isn't that an insult?" Casper made a upset look.
"No! My family loved ghost types. So much we actually gained the ability to communicate with them. And no, that saying means that no matter how much people forget them, they'll always be in their hearts. You know, because if a ghost is haunting you, they cling?" Silver nodded in realization.
"Should've guessed heh."
