Two sisters from the Kalos region, Faith and Y, are thrown into an adventure when something goes wrong in their region. They are sent back in time to ancient Hisui, a region that in time will come to be known as Sinnoh. The girls will need to learn how to study Pokémon and survive in harsh environments, as well as avoiding attacks from wild Pokémon. Will they ever find a way back home?
