Two Way Life (Chapter 3)

Gabriel POV

Alice: Put that on a jump in.

She jumped into the water and transformed into a Dreadnought class battleship.

I looked at the necklace and the little thing on it was a Dreadnought class battleship. I put it on and jumped in.

The battle ended up being a turkey shoot, but I think that is even making it sound harder then it was. The wooden pirate ships and ironclad warship just blew up whenever we shot them.

After the battle all of our opponents just looked in pain, we just went back up to class. When we got back to class it was basically the end so we just sat around. I was in the seat I was siting in before. The bell rang and everyone left. I was about to get up went someone put a sheet of paper on my desk and walked away. They were a girl with short brown hair, and she was on the shorter side. I opened the folded paper she left me. "Meet me on the hill you woke up on at 7." I put it in my pocket and got up. I left the building coming out to the front.

Alice: Hey.

Alice moved to walk beside me.

Alice: I wanted to get your number.

Ah...

I felt my other pocket and found my phone. Me and her exchanged numbers.

Alice: So... You wanna come over to my place?

Sure.

We walked over to her house and entered it. Her house was big enough but it wasn't that big. We walked into her house. I could already tell she was a bit of a weeb. She had a big poster of a Bismarck class ship, but instead of guns it had laser canons and figurines.

Alice: Oh... Don't mind that.

Your a weeb, are you.

She looked away embarrassed.

Don't worry, I don't care what you like, I care about your personality.

Alice: Thanks.

No problem.

We sat on her couch and talked. She offered for me to stay the night and I accepted.

Seven rolled around and I left to go meet that person. When I arrived at the hill I sat on the bench I woke up on. Soon enough they came and sat beside me.

??: You actually came, surprising.

...

??: Come on.

She got up and walked down the back side of the hill to a beach. I followed. When we got to the bottom she snapped her figure and she turned into a angel. She had a white robe and wings.

??: Just call me Layla.

Ok, Layla.

Layla: I need to explain to you how this world works, and if you do help me I'll start you up.

Explain.

Layla: Ok, there are four major powers in this world, all of them are fighting over an island. This Island has a porthole to another world, your world.

Ok, and?

Layla: all 4 powers want to take over your world and inslave it's people.

No, your joking.

Layla: I'm not, I give everyone who get's reincarnated this option. Do you wanna fight with me or live a normal life? I won't judge your decision, I've seen people go both ways.

Can I see my family?

Layla: If you manage to get on good terms with everone back at home I guess.

I'll do it.

Layla: Ok, the 4 world powers are Canada, Australia, Your group, and the group your fighting. They all have islands like your.

I guess Canada is just a snowy Island?

Layla: Yeah, It's also double the size of yours.

Great...

The two other people that chose to fight are hampering their countries ability to make money. Canada and Australia aren't technically at war but if they were to get the money to build a fleet they would. The girl in Canada is useing her Pennsylvania class ship named Arizona, to blow up mines and oil felds to stop them from selling it. And the guy down in Australia is blowing up cargo ships with planes from his ship, Langley.

What do I have to do?

Layla: I don't know, this world makes big technology strides but they take a ridiculous amount of time.

I guess I'm in a good position, I've befriended Alice who is clearly one of the school geniuses. I could probably had a say in the development of ships. And that would allow me to development ships powerful enough to beat the enemy but not the ships of my world.

Layla: I got you.

I guess I'm In a pretty good position.

Layla: Take this.

Layla gave me a necklace.

Layla: It's a Wyoming class battleship.

Thanks.

Layla: Just move your hand like you were about to open some violently from right to left with your left hand.

I did that and a floating blue screen opened midair.

Layla: Just take the necklace and put it into the screen.

It did that and it disappeared out of my head and appeared as a little box.

Layla: Physically grab at it if you need it.

Ok.

Layla: I gonna go check up on the Canadian, the other two are keeping this a secret so I recommend you do the same.

She disappeared into dust.

Looks like I have a secret life now...
