Human - Chapter 1
... I can bite my tougue...
---
It felt as if the time had passed so slowly, the blue open sky flowing around the cool atmosphere. I gaze at it for minute until I blinked to hear a slight humming of birds. It gave me the urge to tilt my aching head round to spot a blue bird: perched onto one of the oak branches of a tree. I took a deep breath and inhaled the fresh life that loomed over me. With patience, I got up and panned around.
It was beautiful. The landscape was a miracle to see.
My mouth dropped to see the clear waters that doomed me. The sea had stretched quite afar, and all I smile about is the feeling of the green grass that I sat on. I stood up, then carefully took a step. And it felt as if I forgot how to even walk. My knees trembled from my weak bones. But it wasn't a bother. I looked up again to see the blazing sun razing my pale skin. Combing my hair back: I trenched across the plains of grasslands and spot a forest in the distance.
It looked very ominous, yet it urged me to treck in. And as I bit my lip for a second, I started sauntering into the oak forest.
Lush green leaves flew by within the wind as I looked around the amazing wonders. There was canopies of leaves and brambles; rustling. I took another step forward and heard the sqeals of squirrels in hollow trunks. With a laugh, I began moving my pace faster.
My arms stretched up and wide as I ran pass the trees. And all of a sudden, I felt my bare feet hit against something hard: a tree root. I screamed as I fell to the soft ground. I did not cry, but laugh happily. I couldn't remember when I last had a good happy feeling inside me, but I would definitely count this as one.
As I lift my head up from the ground, I trailed of my giggling and saw something. A silhouette.
"Are you sure this is the way back to the camp?" One of the shadows called out. I got up quickly, and sprinted to the nearest hiding: behind a large oak tree.
The other replied, "Yes Toby, this is the way."
"But last time you led back, I got stuck in a bush!" The other exaggerated. I moved closer, then I felt me foot stomp onto a twing. It snapped.
"Wait." The other one paused its tracks and I widened my eyes. "I heard something over there." AT that moment, the two figurines changed direction; pointing at my point. Quickly, I huddled against the trun and heard the footsteps of the two men.
And suddenly, I was grabbed by something. And by somehting I mean a branch! I shut my mouth as it picked me up with it's rough grip. It lifted me off and I find myself confronted by those two. One was blonde, with a bandana; a green top, shorts and bare foot. The other one had a black hoodie and jeans with shoes. They were completely anonymous, but both had concerned faces.
The blonde one came up to me and asked, "Who are you and why are you in our forest?"
"Um... I didn't mean to. I mean... I didn't know this was your land," I panicked and stuttered.
"Speak your name," He asked seriously again.
The I replied, "I don't have one."
