If there is any spelling errors or mistakes throughout this book, I apologize. I'm just having fun making this story:) if you come across this story somehow, thanks for reading.
It was just like the life I always wanted, I'm happy. I have a wonderful boyfriend who I've dated since freshman year and our bond is incredible. It was the very last day of high school and boy...was that an emotional ride.
"Hey lacy, you better hang out with me over the summer." My best friend Hannah exclaimed as she was slamming her locker shut for the last time.
"And how could I forget Hannah Jones. My very best friend who has been by my side since elementary." I said while grabbing her for a hug.
Hannah is gorgeous. She has long light brown hair with twinkling blue eyes, she's also really tall. Hannah keeps up with the trends so I always borrow her clothes.
After thinking I wasn't about to cry, my friend Jammie came up right behind me tugging on my backpack. "Lacy I'm really going to miss you." Jammie said as she wiped the tears onto her sweatshirt.
Jammie was going to a college out of state. I know we will text but it's just not the same. As soon as she spoke I bursted into tears.
I grabbed the last notebook out of my locker and took a glance down the hallways one last time. "Bye Oak Park. You will be missed." I then walked out the doors seeing everyone hugging there friends goodbye.
My phone was ringing so I grabbed it seeing my boyfriend Tyler was calling. He went to a different school and today was his last day also. "Hey babe, I figured you would want to get food or something." He asked in a way where I didn't have a choice. "I know you are sad about school ending."
Of course I said yes. It's food.
We entered the restaurant and sat down at a booth. We started talking about the life ahead of us. "Sooo uhh are you ready for college." Tyler said knowing I'm nervous. "I know you will do great and make so many friends. You have nothing to worry about babe." Reassuring me.
Our waitress came by asking us what we would like to eat and Tyler already knew the answer to that... "she would like chicken Alfredo and I would like steak with mashed potatoes on the side"
"You know I can order for myself Tyler." I giggled.
"Totally... but I wanted to prove to you that I remember what you liked." He sweetly said.
Tyler was my dream guy. He has short dark brown hair, light brown eyes, he has adorable dimples that make an appearance every time he smiles. Nobody could ever replace him or our bond. I don't know what I would ever do without him. I see him in my future. A beautiful house, kids, vacations. All with him by my side.
After eating, I reached out for his hands holding onto them. Tyler looked down at me and gave me a cute smile. He really does love me. He then kissed me on the forehead and lead me to the car.
"Not to be cheesy or anything but you are the prettiest girl I ever laid my eyes on." He beamed.
I could feel my face getting warm and red. I was blushing. He always surprises me with random compliments.
"Now pretty lady, I have to take you home." Tyler winked.
"Nooo just a little longer. Please?" I batted my eyes, giving him the puppy dog face.
"Alright. You know I can't resist that face."
Tyler took me to our favorite spot. A beautiful nature park with a mini waterfall. I walked up onto an enormous rock holding onto Tyler's sweatshirt. I looked down at the waterfall in awe. I've seen this about a thousand times but it still is breathtaking.
"Tyler. I just am afraid all my friends are going to forget me. I'm afraid that it won't be the same anymore." I sniffled while trying to balance on the rock.
"It's life. People move on. The people who actually stay are your true friends. They are the ones who care Lacy" he admitted.
I really did think about what he said. He is right, I am going to college soon and might make new friends there too. If my friends move on, they move on.
"Alright babe. I really need to take you back home now. I don't want to make a bad impression on your parents again." Tyler said with a serous face.
"Yeah. yeah. yeah. Like that one time you got me home four hours late and my mom was ready to make a police report." I said as I was staring at him waiting for a response.
"Umm yeah that time. No offense Lacy but your mom kinda scares me a bit, but I love her." He hesitated to say.
He does have a really great bond with my mother. My mother treats Tyler like family and does get after him sometimes. She cares.
Tyler and I got to my house and he went inside to say hi to my mom.
"So Tyler are you going to college? What are your plans?" My mom asked while cooking my brother and sister food.
"I think I'm going to wait until I'm ready, to know exactly what I'm going to do." Tyler explained.
"I just can't believe my baby Lacy is going to college soon." My mom said with a bunch of emotions.
My mother was very proud of me for going to college. Picking the best one for me. But I know she will miss having me around.
As Tyler left my house I squeezed him tightly wrapping my arms around him. I leaned in for a kiss and after I smiled up at him.
"Bye love." I blushed.
