I woke up with what had seemed like marker drawn all over me. I rubbed my eyes and in fact it was marker. I stormed off to the bathrooms and started violently scrubbing the drawings off my arms and legs.

"That's what you get for falling asleep first." Sam cautioned. "You look so mad." She laughed.

"What is this? A middle school sleepover." I shouted getting the last drawing off my arm.

I can already see right through Sam. She is an arrogant girl who doesn't have remorse for her actions. She's also very stuck up and still has the dorm covered in her belongings.

"Are you going to the party later?" Kayla said grabbing onto the bathroom doorknob. "And uh why are you covered in marker." She said holding in a laugh.

"Wait there's more?" I gasped while turning around trying to find the spot. "And sure. Sure. I'll come"

I got an incoming FaceTime from Tyler. It was so good to see that face again. When I picked up he was in his bed and his hair was a cute mess.

"Just woke up?" I smirked.

"Yeah I got a job interview so I have to get ready. I just wanted to call real quick to tell you that you are beautiful and I miss your hugs and laughs." Tyler replied. "I gotta go fast. I figured seeing your face would be better then just a call. Bye lace. Love you."

As the day went on, it was time for the party. I laid out different options to wear.

"The light wash ripped jeans with your black laced shirt. Also pair it with some jewelry." Sam suggested. "It's not too much and it doesn't look like you are trying to hard. Oh and I'll do your makeup."

I think that I figured out how to get along with Sam... fashion. I got dressed in the outfit Sam told me to wear and I went to find Kayla.

"Love the outfit Lacy. It's not too much." Kayla said. "The party is this way." She said while grabbing ahold of my hands and dragging me there.

I entered the party and my eyes were darting all over the place. The lights were practically blinding me. I see so many people dancing on each other and singing along to the songs. I noticed most of the girls were dressed in mini skirts and dresses but I didn't bring any of that, let alone own it. I lose Kayla in a crowd of people so I just wandered around.

"Hey, it's you. Uhh Lacy? Lacy right?"  This guy said.

It was dark inside the room and I couldn't pick up on who was even talking to me, until one of the disco lights shined onto his face. Ethan!

"Oh, hi Ethan. And yes it's Lacy." I was now shouting over the loud music.

"I didn't think you would come the the party." Ethan said loudly.

"Why would you think that?" I asked.

"You didn't want to get to know my friends earlier so I just thought you didn't like being around a bunch of people." Ethan said leaning into my ears so I could hear him better.

"No no it's not that I-" I said stuttering. "I have a boyfriend and I wanted to respect him." I finished.

"Oh oh you thought- no. I wasn't like hitting on you or anything. Just wanted to be friends with you Lacy."

He got closer into my ears. "Do you want to step out so we can hear each other?"

"Uh...yeah...sure. Why not." I replied.

We stepped out of the party and began talking about both our lives. We didn't notice that hours upon hours were passing by. Ethan is so easy to talk to. I noticed people started walking out of the party.

"Wow I really didn't expect to miss the whole party." Ethan giggled.

I checked the time on my phone. It was already midnight. "It was really nice talking to you, Ethan. I usually don't have deep conversations like this with people."

Ethan is really charming and well spoken. I feel so wrong getting into a deep conversation with a guy other than my boyfriend, but then again this guy is just going to be my friend.

Ethan stood up and held out his hand to lift me up. "Since you didn't experience the party..." he said while leading me into the room it was held in. "There are still drinks..." Ethan said pointing at the alcohol.

"I don't know about this Ethan. I just met you, I shouldn't be drinking with you." I stated while walking away.

He grabbed my hand. "It's fine Lacy, we are just friends."

He was good at manipulating me. But why was I about to drink? Why was I about to make a huge mistake? I'll regret this later.

"Here...catch!" Ethan said while tossing me a bottle.

An hour later and I was drunk for the first time. I didn't have a balance. I started to fall and then Ethan caught me and we laughed it off hysterically. He was just so funny. I will never forget this moment. I leaned my head onto his shoulders.

"Lacy, you are a special girl." Ethan blushed.

"Me? Special. Pshhhh." I doubted.

"Yeah Lacy special. You are the only girl around here who even listens to me. You give me a chance." He said while brushing off a piece of hair out of my eyes.

We had a moment of just silence. Not an awkward type of silence. He leaned in going for a kiss. I leaned in too.

"I gotta go." I stated while heading out of the door.

"Wait Lac-" Ethan said trying to stop me.

I was gone. I just had done a terrible thing. I cheated on my boyfriend. Two days into college and I already lost who I was. I opened my dorm room quietly and got ready for bed, then slowly placed my head onto my pillow.

"What I have I done." I whispered under my breath. "What have I done."
