Chapter 18

“NO! GIVE SABO BACK YOU BASTARD!!” I yelled as I struggled.

“GIVE SABO BACK BLUEJAM!!” Luffy yelled.

“What do you mean by ‘Give Sabo back’?! Sabo is my son! It’s the children’s responsibility to obey their parents’ order!! How dare you provoke him to run away from his home!!” Sabo’s dad said. “Are you targeting my fortune you scum?!!”

“What did you say?!!” I snapped at him which resulting one of the Bluejam’s crew that holding me, threw down to the ground, making my upper left brow got cut and bleeding, and some of the blood landed on the noble’s cheek.

“Hey Pirate! Be careful to hit these children! I got dirtied by these trash mountains children’s blood! Better clean off the germs.” The noble bastard said.

“Eri!” both Ace and Luffy called out, while Sabo looked grim and gritted his teeth.

“Damn it…” I whispered as I tried to get up, blood flowed down to left side of my face.

“Stop it dad! I did not get provoked by them at all! I left by my own decision!” Sabo tried to argue.

“Shut your mouth!” the noble yelled at Sabo before turning to Bluejam. “I leave the rest to you, Pirates.” He said.

“Don’t worry sir! We already got your payments; we will beat these children so they won’t get close to your son anymore.” Bluejam said.

“Wait a moment Bluejam!! Father! Stop it! I understand!!” Sabo said.

“What did you understand for, Sabo?” the noble asked.

“DON’T DO IT SABO!!” Ace yelled.

“SABO!” Luffy yelled.

“SABO-NII!” I yelled.

“I-I’ll do anything you say!! And live a life that you say! But please… don’t hurt these three!!” Sabo said, “Please… they’re my precious siblings!!” he finally said it.

“Well then, if you say so. Now let’s go to our home, Sabo.” The noble said and turned away, while the guards from High Town and Sabo walked away from us.

“STOP IT SABO-NII! DON’T LEAVE US!!” I yelled and got up.

“DON’T LEAVE SABO!! RUN!! WE’RE GONNA BE ALRIGHT!! WE PROMISED THAT WE’RE GONNA BE FREE RIGHT?!!” Ace yelled as he got up too. “DO YOU WANT IT TO END LIKE THIS?!! SABO!!!”

But nor Sabo, the guards, or even the noble bastard turned to look at us, I punched the ground as tears started to dwelled up from my eyes, Ace was cursing loudly while Luffy was crying his eyes up and calling for Sabo. Damn it all! I wish I was stronger! I was being naïve for thinking I was strong enough!

“TAKAO!! I LEAVE SABO TO YOU!!” I yelled, loud enough to make Takao who was in the woods (though because of his devil fruit, his hearings were got sharper) to hear my order. “KEEP AN EYE OF HIM IN DISTANCE!! DON’T LET ANYONE SEE YOU!!”

He eventually flew away as Bluejam’s crew taking us away from the Trash Mountains toward his ship. My head was started to pounding and I felt light-headed, but I just shook it off. My vision was starting to blur as my breathing was getting heavier, but I didn’t give a damn as my mind was drifted to a few hours ago.

Flashback…

“Achoo!!” I sneezed and coughed a few times as the storm was subsided. Because of that storm, I was wet and the breeze was strong enough to make me cold and sneezed.
