It's the voice of a girl, probably around 17-18 years old. As I come closer, I see that her foot was stuck under a big log, about the size of a normal tree.
"Help! Anybody?" She yells louder.
"I'm here! What happened?" I asked the red headed girl.
With an exhausted voice she explains, "I was running through these woods trying to find my dog. I turned the corner and ran straight into the tree. When I stumbled back, it stated to fall, and clipped my foot."
At this point I've started to move the trunk out of the way. "Does anything hurt?" I ask.
"Only my foot and ankle, I don't know if I can walk on it." She says with concern.
"Here let me help you up" I offer. "So who are you? I mean, I don't think I've seen you before."
"Oh yeah, I'm Jessie Buhnnershoe. Thanks a lot for saving me, I don't know how long I could've been out here for."
When I hear her name, I feel like I've heard it before. It's never been said in good context either. "No problem Jessie! Do you go to School around here? Your name sounds familiar."
"Yeah, I go to Rapford High." She's says while limping forward.
So she goes to the my school, that's probably why I know the name. "Oh so do I. I don't think we have any classes together, that's probably why I don't really know you."
"That would make sense, but I never caught your name. So I wouldn't know" Jessie said a bit sarcastically.
"I'm Makenna Yuno." I say while pulling out my phone. "Here's a picture of my schedule."
"We have the same lunch period. You should come sit with me at lunch tomorrow."
As I process what she's saying, I notice a slight grin coming across her face. "I'll find you then." I say with tiredness. "But for now we should be getting home. It's already past midnight."
"Ok, you'll find me near the middle, three tables past the nerd table."
She limps away with a smile. I wonder how she can be so gleeful with her foot is hurt like that?

When I get home, I'm greeted by an empty house and a comfy bed. I quickly change, and go to sleep. "Tomorrow I'll find out what her deal is." I say to myself.
