avani: what are you talking about?
payton: she just doesn't seem like that kind of person she's really sweet and caring and-
avani: UGH SEE!!! THIS IS WHY I MADE IT ALL UP! SHES TRYING TO TAKE YOU FROM ME!!
payton: you what...?
avani: SHE NEVER HAD A CRUSH ON YOU. SHE NEVER THREATENED YOUR MUM. SHE NEVER EVEN KNEW YOU EXISTED TILL TODAY!
payton: why would you do that
avani: because baby she's trying to take you
payton: dont "baby" me! i'm sick of you acting like this towards every girl who even LOOKS at me! you're supposed to trust me
avani: yeah well i guess i don't
payton: wow... were over
avani: fine.

MIAS POV
payton and mia came to the uber and we all sat down like this:

DRIVER                          CHASE
     JACKSON DYLAN AVANI
       PAYTON MIA CYNTHIA

after 10 minutes of driving i looked at payton. he had tears in his eyes and it broke my heart. i didn't know what to do because he was mad at me so i just sat there looking at him from the corner of my eye. until i saw a tear fall down his face. i turned to face him and wiped away the tear with my thumb
mia: i'm sorry for what you think i did but i swear i never said anything to your mum
payton: i know...
mia: are you okay
payton: yeah... i'm fine
mia: okay but if you want to talk i'm here
payton: yeah..
i looked back to the front and saw avani death staring me so i looked away and avoided eye contact.
FINALLY after 15 minutes of her staring at me we arrived at  the hotel
cynthia: okay so i may have booked the wrong number of beds....
jackson: seriously?!
cynthia: yeah... we have to share so i guess we will just do the same as our treasure hunt pairs!
chase: yeah okay
we walked into the hotel room and sat on the bed i was sharing with payton.
mia: hey what's the time?
payton: 2am
mia: oh wow we should get to sleep
avani: no one asked you -she mumbled-
payton: no one asked you either -he said confidently-
dylan: woah what's up with you guys
avani: he dumped me that's what!
payton: you lied about mia!
mia: what!
i was surprised! she was my best friend and i was really hurt
mia: she's the one who said i threatened your mum... isn't she
payton: i'll leave you to explain this avani
he walked out to the balcony and i was left there sitting on the bed with avani on the one next to me. i felt tears run down my cheeks and my vision got blurry. i was stuck there. frozen. i was so shocked. she was my best friend. why would she do that to me! i wiped my tears and went outside forgetting payton was out there
mia: oh i'm sorry i forgot-
payton: dont worry about it. it's fine.
mia: i'm really really sorry.
payton: you didn't do anything
mia: if i had just stayed home this wouldn't have happened
payton: she just would have done it to some other girl. it's not the first time this has happened so i don't know why i was surprised. 
mia: i just dont understand what i did. she was my best friend
payton: well.... we could be best friends now
mia: 😁 yeah.. i'd like that
