Yoonkook-Pool accident

Fun fact: So this one shot is based on something that happened to me at a family party a little over a week ago. I was gonna updates sooner but school is stupid. Also it kinda sucks but hopefully you guys enjoy!!

     One of Jungkook's family members was having a birthday party so naturally he would be going. He was kind of nervous though since he would be bringing his boyfriend Yoongi. He also hasn't seen most of these people in like 6 years so nervous was an understatement.

Once they arrived at the house Jungkook saw how many people were there and instantly thought of just leaving right now but he really wanted to see his sister and a few of his cousins that would be there.

Yoongi could tell that the other was nervous and gently squeezed his hand to reassure him that he was right by his side.

When they entered the front door they were greeted by Jungkook's aunt that he hadn't seen in about 5 or 6 years.

"Oh my goodness honey you're so grown now! So cute and handsome!" Jungkook's aunt said while hugging him. She really was a sweet woman, he had forgotten how much he loved spending time with her.

Jungkook's Pov

"And who is this beautiful young man?" my aunt asks nudging my shoulder.

"This is Yoongi, my Boyfriend" I answer.

"Oh my! Really! You both look so cute together!" she practically squeals with delight.

"It's nice to meet you Ma'am" Yoongi says bowing slightly anxious to meet my family members.

My aunt pulls Yoongi into a hug startling him a bit, but he relaxes and hugs her back. She tells him how much of a gentleman he is and that he needs to treat me right. He thanks her and gives her a determined looks saying he'll treat me as his world. I giggle cause he's just too cute.

My aunt leads Yoongi and I to backyard were everyone else is and I automatically run towards my older sister once I see her, giving her a hug cause it had been a while since I'd seen her. Yoongi quickly catches up to me because he doesn't feel comfortable around a lot of new people.

~2 hour time skip~ (cuz im tired lol)

We been at the party for a while and I'm starting to feel exhausted, I love spending time with my family but I'm just overwhelmed with the large crowd.

Yoongi and I are sitting outside by the pool talking to my uncle (the husband of my aunt that I was greeted by earlier) about how college is going and life in general.

I see my aunt and some of my cousin's kids in the pool so I excuse myself and leave my boyfriend and uncle to talk. Yoongi was much more comfortable now and expressed that he really enjoyed my uncle's company considering they both pursued music as a career.

I only dip my feet in the pool while talking to my aunt. I have a slight fear of water and I can swim but not very well so I like to be cautious around pools, oceans, lakes etc.

After around 10 ish minutes I take my feet out of the pool and go to the ice chest to get a drink.

As I arrive to the ice chest I'm blocked by my sister's husband I laugh cause he's know to joke around (and he's had a few beers so he was quite drunk).

We were just messing around but he says a sentence that automatically causes my anxiety to heighten.

"How 'bout a swim?" His voice laced with mischief.

"Uh I think I'll have to pass" I say panicking.

"No I think it's swim time"

He reached toward me while I try and back away but he manages to grab my arms. I basically throw all my weight to the ground trying to get away from him but he just drags me by my legs and then picks me up bridal style.

I kick and scream practically crying now and I hear my sister trying to stop him but she fails to do so.

He's standing next to the pool, my body is right above the water.

He pauses

He laughs

Then tosses me into the pool.....

As soon as I hit the water I can feel it.

The panic.

Tears automatically well up in my eyes. As if my breathing wasn't rapid enough, it now feels twice as hard to breathe.

I'm suffocating.

I rise to the top of the water trying to move as fast as I can to the pool step. I can't control my heavy breathing or my tears, I can only hope that the water running down my face hides the stream leaving my eyes.

I sit on the step and look up to see my sister apologizing and handing me a towel. I stand up to get out but my body betrays me, my legs are shaking and my vision is blurry.

I just want to go home.

I just want Yoongi.

Yoongi's Pov~

I just came back from the bathroom and as I'm looking for Jungkook I freeze once I see him

stepping out of the pool.....

A million questions run through my mind.

Why is he in the pool

Why is he shaking so much

What happened

I see his sister wrap a towel around him and I immediately run towards him.

The look on his face shatters my heart, I pick him up and head to the bathroom, but he starts shaking even more and try's pushing me away.

I don't put him down I only whisper encouraging words to him.

Once we reach the bathroom I try calming him down.

Hugging him tightly and drawing circles on his back. He's crying heavily and he's short of breath. His hands tremble as they hold on to my shirt, face buried in the crook of my neck.

We stay like this for over an hour before he finally starts to calm down a bit.

I ask him what happened and rage runs through me as I'm about to get up and beat the shit out of a dumbass, Jungkook stops me.

"P p please stay I don't want a anymore unwanted things t to happen" His plea is all I need to hear as I sit myself on the floor with him again.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm so sorry" I feel my eyes water as my heart clenches.

"Thank you Yoongi" Jungkook mumbles slowly falling asleep.

"I love you baby"

"I love you more"
