also this is an au where badgerclops and adorabat were already at pure heart and took mao mao in (and he never lost his tail and keeps the green)
Once badgerclops got home he went to check up on mao mao seeing him in a cute little ball "awww" badgerclops walked over to him and thought 'he is so cute' badgerclops started to pet mao mao blushing. mao mao started to blush and purr 'OH MY GOSH HE'S SO CUTE!!' badgerclops felt something warm dripping down his face. he felt his face and saw blood 'did i just get a nose bleed from mao mao acting cute? oh no does this mean that every time he acts cute i'm going to have a nose bleed?' badgerclops looked at mao mao and thought 'he wouldn't mind if i slept with him' badgerclops climbed in bed with him and mao mao clinged onto him. badegrclops blushed and cuddled him. the next day mao mao woke up and turned red 'h-huh?!' Mao mao blushed and slowly cuddled into badgerclops' chest. He then heated something he did not do in a while, he was purring, he hasn't purred since he was a little kitten because off his father "awe are you happy~" mao mao blushed and said "m-maybe" badgerclops chuckled and pulled mao mao closer and mao mao purred some more.

badgerclops walked up to mao mao blushing "h-hey um mao mao?" mao mao turned and looked at Badgerclops and said "yeah badgerclops?" badgerclops blushed and asked "d-do you want to go out later?" mao mao blushed and said "s-sure" adorabat overheard this and smiled. once badgerclops left adorabat said "hey i want to help you pick your outfit" "sure"

mao mao blushed and said "that works. thanks adorabat" adorabat smiled and walked away. mao mao put the outfit on. once he did he smiled "hey badgerclops i'm ready" badgerclops looked at mao mao and blushed "w-wow" the two walked in the park and mao mao wasn't looking were he was going and bumbed into someone "oof s-sorry!" mao mao held out a hand "its ok....cutie~" mao mao looked at this random guy and said "u-um we have to go!" "hey wait can i have your number~?" mao mao was panicking he was never in this kind of situation before "u-um sorry n-not interested!!" mao mao then speed walked away badgerclops then said "hey um you ok?" mao mao nodded and badgerclops said while blushing "u-um there's something i wanted to tell you" mao mao looked up and said "yeah?" badgerclops took mao maos paws and said "i-i really like you like ore then a friend" mao mao blushed and said "i-i l-like y-you too" "will you be my boyfriend?" mao mao smiled and said "yes of course!!" badgerclops kissed mao mao and mao mao kissed back
