"Goodmorning, ladies and gentlemen I am Catharina Amanda and this is Das Deutschen Morgenjournal. Today is the day the Hindenburg sets course for New Jersey in the United States. The world will see german aviation at it's finest..."  The radio was shut down, The man who had shut it down was not interested in new useless technology. Hans Karl was a man of the people. A man who did not see political power through technology or peacekeeping, but through harsh diplomacy and a great military. A perfect example of his country and people, yet he lived here in a small flat in downtown Berlin. Working an administrative job in the Reichstag and meeting every other week with his "friends". He was relatively young for his career, only 24. Yet a lot of people thought he was older. probably because of his brown beard that always was clean-shaven and his tall posture and broad shoulders. His friends used to joke around that he wasn't meant to work in a government office but rather as a soldier or construction worker.

He got off his bed and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. He didn't listen to his radio often, even though it started every day at seven o'clock. He preferred the papers while listening to Mozart in the morning with his breakfast. He liked some relaxing music before having to listen to people and machines the entire day. The paper was more of the same that day: The launch of the Hindenburg, the activities of the French emperor and the Chinese civil war. The same as the past month. "I should've gotten the Reichszeitung instead of this." He thought to himself.
He closed the paper, turned off his record and headed towards the door. His keys and his cap he got from his father laid on a shelf higher than his head, but he didn't even have to look up as he put up his cap and put his keys into his pocket. As he had done so many times.
