She nods slowly as I was about to ask her another question.

"Hey, what's your na-"

The school bell rung, interrupting my sentence.

"Thanks for saving me, I guess I'll just head back to my class now..." She mumbled as she bowed at headed back to her class.

She left right before I could even chase her,  she seems like she needs help... I'll help her as much as I can then...

I headed back to my classroom and rest my head on the table, I couldn't stop thinking about her...

"Hey, did you hear? Kang Daniel said he wanted to fight the new guy!"

"What? Which one? Is it from our class?"

"I think it's from our class, so it's either Sunghwan or Y/N..."

"I have a feeling it would be Y/N though, our sweet Sunghwan wouldn't do this kind of thing, right?"

I held back my laughter but soon, I couldn't take it anymore, I laughed out loud in the class.

Everyone's eyes were on me as I stood up with clutching my stomach.

"Oh my god, you gotta be kidding me 'our sweet Sunghwan' fuck, I'm wheezing! HAHAHA"

The two girls who were having their gossip session stopped talking and they looked down in embarrassment.

"What? Cat's got your tongue? Come on, I'm looking forward to what you have to say next..." I looked at the two girls, my expression obviously changed to a cold one.

"Next time, if you want to gossip about someone, make sure that they're can't hear you," I warned them before continuing to sleep.

I woke up when Sunghwan tapped my shoulder, "Y/N, get up... we're gonna have a  surprise test..."

When the papers were passed down to me, I looked at the topics.

Interesting, it's about the Pythagoras Theorem...

When the 20 minutes started, I finished my paper quickly and went back to sleep.

"Thanks for completing the test, I'll pass it back to you tomorrow so that you can revise upcoming examination that's in 4 weeks, please remember to revise well. That's all for today, class dismissed."

I stood up when the class was dismissed and headed out of the class while Sunghwan was again surrounded by people.

I walked around, seeing if there's anything for me to explore.

I came across this dark corridor which seems like a scene out of a horror show.

There seems to be laughter and cries coming from one of the classrooms.

I poked my head inside and I saw a background of a well-built guy, standing tall.

In front of him was a timid little girl, shivering and whimpering softly.

Upon closer look, I realized that it was the girl whom I helped during break time today.

"Ha! Seems like your savior isn't here to help you anymore, I really pity you... You thought that you found your hero, right? Are you gonna cry? Aw..."

"Please... why are you doing this to me? Please just... let me go..." The girl cried softly and the guy stepped on her hand.

The girl cries in pain and I couldn't bear to watch it any further, I walked over to the bully and spun him around so that he's facing me.

I then pull back my arm and released a punch on his face. 

As he was lying on the floor, I took the girl's hand and pulled her along with me, careful not to grab her injured hand.

I brought her to the infirmary and the nurses treated her hand, luckily it's not a serious injury.

"Thanks, for saving me... again... Let me repay the favor..." The girl requested shyly.

"First, what's your name? Introduce yourself, sweetie," I asked and she looked shocked.

"I-I'm Hyewon, Kang Hyewon and I'm 20 years old this year..." She smiled shyly as she responded to me.

"Hyewon, wanna go out for lunch?" I asked as her eyes widened, filled with excitement but an awkward silence filled the air soon after.

"So, you ready to head out for lunch?" Hyewon asked to break the awkward silence.

"Actually… I'm curious about you, I wanna get to know you more. Let's do what you usually do after school!" I smiled at her brightly.

I honestly think this is the first time I've smiled so brightly ever since I stepped into this school.

"Uh… I think it's better if we go out for lunch, I don't really do much stuff after school…"

"Come on! I'm curious!" I held Hyewon's wrist and swang it from side to side, trying to show some aegyo.

Hyewon giggled and nodded her head, "Okay okay I actually study after school, it's really not the most interesting thing to do…"

"It's okay! Let's study together!" I let go of her hand and place them in my pocket again.

"Really? I thought you were gonna call me a nerd for studying after school…" Her voice trailed off a bit at the end.

"A nerd? Why would I call you a nerd? Plus, nerds have their own interesting side too!" I assured her as she went back to her normal self.

"Hurry, let's go and eat lunch first! My stomach is calling out to me!" Hyewon exclaimed as she rubbed her tummy.

We both laughed at her sudden change of character when it comes to food.

After we took a bus to this shopping mall, we found a cafe that sells cakes and coffee and much more.

I found a seat as Hyewon went to buy food for the both of us.

She came back with like 10 different flavoured cake slices and two cups of coffee.

I stared at her in shock, "Hyewon, if you think I am a huge eater… you thought wrong…"

She laughed as she placed the tray down and sat opposite me.

"I wasn't sure if you were a huge eater but I bought what I am certain that I can finish." She stated calmly.

"YOU CAN FINISH 10 SLICES OF CAKE?!" I questioned her.

"Mhm, why wouldn't I? Cake is so delicious, I could marry one in the future…" She started to stuff her face with face.

I chuckled at the sight in front of me, Kang Hyewon stuffing her face with cake in front of me. How cute.

Oh my god, what you thinking, Y/N? Calling her cute? You've gone nuts. YOU'VE GONE CRAZY.

"Y/N, why'd you help me?" Hyewon asked quietly, taking bites in between.

I was taken back by her question, it was so sudden and I didn't expect her to ask that.

"I… I just couldn't take it when people bully others so I obviously had to help, I couldn't leave you alone knowing what Daniel might do to you…"

"Thanks, you're my hero…" Hyewon thanked with a warm smile that melted my heart.

No, Y/N, you can't do this. Not again.

After what seems like 30 minutes, Hyewon finished all the cakes and I was almost done with my Ice Coffee.

"So, where do you want to study after this?"

"Hm… maybe the lib-" Hyewon's words were cut off by someone who entered the cafe.

We both looked towards the entrance and I saw…
