bakugo POV
did he know..? the comment still floating in the air. did he know i was gay.. i wanted to tell him. i also kinda wanted to kiss him. but i did neither
"what do you mean?" his eyes were glossy as he was thinking of a way to say something i already knew.
"don't take this the wrong way ok kat?"
fuck. this wasnt the right time to use cute nicknames.
"mhm" i replied almost annoyed sounding. but i wasn't i was terrified.
"are you really into girls?" his voice was so innocent but i guess that's what happens when you endure the worst when you're little. i wanted him to know but i didn't want to say it.
"psh of course i am" i lied. i lied to my best friend. i lied to my cru- NO
"bakugo.." he insisted that i tell him without even saying that he did.
"kiri you know." he nodded and gave am me a little smile of empathy. but if you looked close enough you could see how broken his smile really was.
"cmon bakugo let's watch a movie and get pizza! it could definitely help"
"hell yeah!" i responded hyper and we spent the rest of the night on the floor watching a movie on an old laptop, eating junk food. life suddenly felt good. like all would be ok.
kiri POV
when i woke up i was on my bed and my laptop and a pizza box sat on my desk. bakugo was no where to be found. i got up and stretched. there was a piece of paper on my bed. i opened it slowly to reveal a short note

a blushed a little at it. after i got dressed i send a text to the blond next door.
kiri🦈: hey bro!
katsuki💥: oi
kiri🦈: wanna walk with me to schoooooool
katsuki💥:...yes
yes!! i waited outside his dorm and he finally came out, smiling.
"happy today?" i laughed and winked a little.
"psh of course not. i'm just... not mad."
"ah it's a day like no other" i laughed and i think he did too.
school flew by pretty fast. though it was pretty boring. we had to write papers on our partners from yesterday. i'm sure midoriya would Ace this paper. i knew i wouldn't but hey, i can't say i didn't enjoy writing about bakugo. 
time skip to end of school cuz i'm lazy
school ended and i gathered my things.
"kami!" i shouted to kamanari and he walked over.
"hey dude how have you been, we havnt talked much." i smiled and scratched the back of  my neck.
"sorry. i've just. i just found my soulmate over the past few days and i've been really busy-"
"say no more." i smiled and fake-punched his arm and he giggled a little.
"you don't wanna know who it is?"
"ah please you've underestimated me. we've all known." i winked over at mina, sero, and shinsou. mina and sero laughed while shin just blushed. i laughed along.
"anyway i totally get it but we gotta have a bakusquad night soon. and that includes BAKUGO" he grunted and i laughed.
"yeah of course. oh i gotta go! bye dude!" he ran off with his secret boyfriend and the last two followed. leaving me and bakugo the only ones in the room.
"yo are we walking together?" i asked bakugo who had just finished packing up.
"um duh?" he smiled. it was precious.
"but first i gotta go to the bathroom" he started walking and i ran up a bit to catch up. the halls were empty.
"i'll wait outside."
i leaned up against the wall outside and smelled the fresh air. suddenly a hand was placed on my shoulder a girl stood there with brown hair and a look for trouble in her eyes.
"kirishima, right?" she questioned.
"um yes? that's me!" i answered trying to be enthusiastic but she was getting really close to me.
"sh-should i know you.." i asked obviously feeling uncomfortable.
"i'm Camie.." she smirked. was she drunk? she slurred her words
"hey can you back up please." i tried to say firmly but my dignity was soon lost when she laughed at me.
"heh that's funny. how about you back up huh?" she pushed me into a wall.
"leave me alone!" i tried again to make her leave.
"sorry ei but i don't really want to" she pressed herself into my chest.
"d-don't call me that" i should be fighting her back. i should push her off but i don't want to hurt her.
"aw why not? bakugo calls you that right?" she set her face just inches from mine and whispered in my ear,
"or is that different?" i backed myself into the wall as much as i could.
"camie you're drunk. you need to go home" i tried to push her off a little but she didn't budge.
"why don't we have some fun huh kiri?i bet i can make you swing the other way" by now her whole body was pressed against me. thankfully though, that was it.
"please st..op." i wiggled as her hands began to wander. help.
but then
"GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS OFF HIM!" a screaming bakugo jumped into action, sparks burning in his palms.
he didn't hurt her much. just sparked the ends of her hair to scare her and he shoved a little. she ran off lousy as she was still completely wasted.
i fell to the ground in disgust and disappointment. he rushed over quick.
"kiri.." he didn't know what to say or how to say it. he came over and sat next to me.
"i-im so sorry i couldn't come sooner.." he looked down. a tear dropped down into his lap and he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"i should've have fought back. b-but i froze.. i couldn't do anything.. i was useless." i cried but the tears didn't make a sound.
"don't say that! you're strong. you just couldn't react and that's ok kiri" he placed a hand on my shoulder and i stood up.
"YOU DONT UNDERSTAND. THEYRE ALL RIGHT. IM USELESS. ILL NEVER BE THE HERO I DREAM OF BEING!" by now tears were streaming down my face and i was a mess. he stood up and went to hug me but i backed up. still crying.
"i just.. i want to be alone" i almost whispered it. but he heard me.
"i can't just leave you here" his eyes were screaming 'let me comfort you' but i wouldn't allow it. it's bakugo for crying out loud. i should love the fact that he's vulnerable around me. but right now i just couldn't.
"i promise i'll be ok." i tried to reassure him. he nodded. sadly. and walked away.
i sat down against the wall. i cried silently. but inside i was screaming, losing my mind. i was worthless. stupid and forever alone.
