Chapter 19

Chaeyoung's POV

This will be our last day, we need to go back to start practicing for the groups comeback. I wanted to do something before we go back to Korea. We rode the cable cart and transfer three times to get to the top of the mountain.

I as stare outside the window I catch a glimpsed of Mina looking down the floor. I'm sure she's afraid right now.

CY : "Minari, are you okay?" I whisphered to her.

MN : "Yes Chaeng it's just to high I can't look outside :)"

CY : "What me to hold you?"

She just nodded back at me.

CY : "Do you really want to that?"

MN : "Hahaha I figure that we came all the way here, might as well experience it."

CY : "You're right! Hahaha you'll have Tzuyu with you that would be a relief."

JH : "Hey love birds! We're getting off here!"

CY : "Arraso were coming!"

As soon as we stepped outside we felt the cold breeze. Everyone has there own world, some our looking at the view and some went to the souvenir shop. I guess I have to wait until tonight to tell Mina.

We gather in the restaurant, we ate in this rotating deck. You can see every side of the mountain.

SN : "I can see Korea from here hahaha."

TY : "Hahaha PD-Nim! I can see PD-Nim in his office."

After eating we headed to the thrill walk were we will walk in pairs. Momo unnie doesn't want to do it, she opted to stay and look for our things. I'm going with Jihyo unnie. The rest of the pair will be NaJeong, MiTzu, Saida.

JY : "Lets go Smol." She said while she wrapped her arms around my shoulder.

CY : "Ohh hyung, Lets go!"

NY : "Yoo Jeongyeon! How dare you leave me?"

JY : "Sorry babe I thought you wanted to go with Jihyo haha."

CY : "Hahaha hyung don't drag me in this, I don't want Nayeonnie getting angry at me because I stole her Yoo Jeongyeon."

JH : "She acts like she doesn't care but the truth is she really is possessive haha."

NY : "Ehhhhhhhhh?"

SN : "Dubu lets go! Don't lay in the floor."

CY : "Having a hard time unnie? haha."

SN : "Hahaha Dahyunnie looks like she dislocated her hips."

DH : "Sana unnie can you hold me?" She said while looking up in the sky.

SN : "Arraso! Lets get moving Mina and Tzuyu already left."

MM : "Sana take care of my Dubu!"

We started moving, we were walking in back of Nayeon unnie and Jeong. You can see that Nayeon unnie still feel bitter about hyung leaving her. I guess hyung can't take signal that well. She just kept walking.

NY : "Babe I'm scare."

JY : "Here babe i'll hold you."

If Nayeon unnie didn't get scared they will finish this whole course without talking. 

We finished the whole trail for almost an hour we had to drag Dahyun until the end. After taking some picture we headed back to the hotel, the night was approaching and we need to transfer hotel this night to catch our flight tomorrow.

After washing and cleaning my things I headed down stairs I wanted to talk to Mina unnie with just the two of us. To my surprise she was already in the lobby when I got there. I guess I got lucky. I went and approached her.

CY : "Mina unnie!"

MN : "Yah! Chaeng you scared me."

CY : "Sorry Minari it's just that I was glad that you're already here."

MN : "I was the first one to finished cleaning up in our room so I decided to wait for everyone else in here."

CY : "Hmm can we talk? I wanted to tell you something."

MN : "Of course, what's up?"

CY : "Can we talk outside? I don't want anyone else to see."

MN : "That's fine but what if they leave us?"

CY : "Hahaha don't worry I already told Jihyo unnie that I'm going to buy something in the store."

MN : "Ohh okay."

We then walked towards the garden. It was facing a cliff. She sat down in the bench.

CY : "The truth is the moment I saw you in the elevator, I knew I had something for you. It made me really happy to be close to you. When you open up about what's bothering you I felt your pain. I think I was more hurt than you were. Knowing that hyung was the person you were talking about and how you got stuck all this time made me want to help you. I started staying by your side trying to help you with the pain. I try stopping myself from falling for you, I know I'm not the one you need in your life. But it was my choice to stay by your side. The thing is I realized that if I really wanted to help you to move on from everything I need to let you go, I need to let go of this lingering feelings. I didn't properly say this to you, cause I don't want thing to get awkward between us but even if you don't talk to me after this saying this would be the right thing to do....." I said while I look straight in front of me, I didn't want to look at her at the moment.

CY : "Myou Mina, I like you...." I said as I turn around to look at her.

Mina's POV

I was waiting for the rest when Chaeng approached me and asked me to come with her. I sat in the garden bench while she focused her gazed in the cliff.

CY : "The truth is the moment I saw you in the elevator, I knew I had something for you. It made me really happy to be close to you. When you open up about what's bothering you I felt your pain. I think I was more hurt than you were. Knowing that hyung was the person you were talking about and how you got stuck all this time made me want to help you. I started staying by your side trying to help you with the pain. I try stopping myself from falling for you, I know I'm not the one you need in your life. But it was my choice to stay by your side. The thing is I realized that if I really wanted to help you to move on from everything I need to let you go, I need to let go of this lingering feelings. I didn't properly say this to you, cause I don't want thing to get awkward between us but even if you don't talk to me after this saying this would be the right thing to do....." 

Everything was going by so fast before I can open my mouth and talk about my thought she just continued t speak it's as if she didn't want to talk to me she just wanted me to listen to her.

CY : "Myou Mina, I like you...." She said wile turning around and giving me a smile. 

I saw a drop of her tears but she wiped it as soon as it went out of her eyes. 

MN : "Chaeng..." and before I can finish what I wanted to say we heard someone shouting our name.

MM : "Minari!!!! Chaeng!!!"

JY : "Mina! Chaeng! Come on we're leaving."

MN : "Chaeng wait."

CY : "Let's go Mina :) Don't worry about it, I'm not expecting any answer from you. I already know your answer anyway." She said while she walks away from me.

CY : "Hyung were coming."

The trip back home was long, everyone was quiet and tired. After we arrived at home everyone just went straight to bed. We're going to start practicing again I want to talk to Chaeng before the comeback.

*3 Days Later*

It's been 3 days since we came back to Korea and I haven't talk to Chaeyoung. I tried to approach her but eh just answer me like we are just co-workers. I think she's really trying to avoid me now and the comeback will be two weeks after. If I don't get the chance to talk to her before comeback I wouldn't get any chance at all.

We were in the middle of break when Chaeng and Dahyun arrived.

DH : "How are you doing everyone? :)"

MM : "Tired."

DH : "Ohh poor Momoring here I brought you snacks."

SN : "Just for Moguri? :("

DH : "I brought it for everyone."

Everyone started to eat while laying in the floor. I thought this is the perfect chance for me to talk to Chaeyoung who was sitting alone in the table.

MN : "Chaeng can we talk?"

CY : "Mina unnie, do you have any concerns?"

MN : "Not about that. Can we talk some other time? Just the two of us?"

CY : "I got a busy week unnie but I'll tell you once I have a chance." She then smiled at me.

I can't focus in practice, I wanted to talk to her so bad but she keeps rejecting me. She didn't even try to listen to what I have to say.
