"Staged wrapped up some of the loose ends in Shadowed Seats, while introducing more questions to be answered.
We get to see a bit more of Oliana, and she is becoming a more rounded character. I am hoping we will see more of Daniel in the next book.
I think it makes more sense reading one book after the other because then you start to get the detail you're looking for. I would still recommend this book as a fun, YA mystery that has grown since the first book.
