It's been around a month and a half already.  October has come around which means lots of spooky decorations. Though classes have been going well, the first years have settled in nicely, and there haven't been too many touble makers, the eerie feel may encourage the students to start the spook fest early this year.  A Halloween party has been scheduled the night of the 31st.  All students have been invited and are encouraged to find either a companion for the party or a group of friends!  Also as the fall weather draws closer the quidditch teams have been practicing more and more.  The matches will start soon which means each team needs to be in top shape if they even want a chance of winning the Quidditch Cup!  For now there will be a few scrimmages just so the teams can get some game oriented practice.  Any team can scrimmage another as long as they both agree.  Those that are not part of a team will have free time after classes or they can observe the scrimmages.  Good luck with the games and may the best house win!
