Til Death Do Us Apart

chapter 2

   Natalie p.o.v

I rub my eyes as the sun hit my face, I push Katherine off me as she is almost on top of me. " ughh move you little brat" I push her to the side making Madeline fall. *thud* " what a good way to wake up !" Madeline groans in pain rubbing her side. I look at Katherine still dead asleep I swear she was always a deep sleeper.   "a train can pass by right now and Katherine will not give a literal shit" Madeline starts to shake Katherine. " Katherine we have to get going" I start getting everything we got into the duffle bag. Katherine finally wakes up and starts to get the blankets. " hey look I found another little duffle bag maybe it can help to not make things to heavy" Madeline comes in showing us the small purple duffle bag. 

After we all packed the things we all started getting ready to walk back to the middle of nowhere again. as I was about to open the door we hear a car come to a stop, we all look at each other with scared faces. " hide!" I whisper shout to them, they start running towards the room and they close the door. I push the dining table towards the door to make it block the way. I peek through the window to see the same men in black that were in our village. I run towards the room and close the doors as quickly as possible. my breathing was heavy and I was shaking, "what do we do ?" I look at Katherine and Madeline panicking too. "push the bed towards the door quick" Madeline said. we all quickly go to the bed and start pushing, it slowly moves making a scratching noise on the floor. "hurry it's making too much noise, they are gonna hear us " Katherine stopped pushing and went to look out the window. "guys stop moving" Madeline and I pushed the bed one more time making it hit the door. " guys seriously stop moving" we look at Katherine, she moves her hand telling us to go and see out the window. I see the men in black looking around the property," did they find us or are they looking for somebody". Madeline looked out the window trying to figure out what they were saying. I put down the duffle bag and take out a gun and some ammo I give Katherine a knife and I tell her to give one to Madeline too. "wait, they're saying something " Madeline leans more towards the window they said "tenemos que encontrar a la familia con el apellido Green y en caso de que necesitemos verificar a dónde fueron esas cuatro chicas del pueblo." (translation: we have to find the family with the green last name and in case we need to verify where those 4 girls from the village went)

My mother had taught us how to speak Spanish when we were younger Madeline said she remember us speaking English but we are not sure, our childhood is very unclear. " four girls? but it was only us three who left the village" I tried to remember everybody who I have met in the village. " hide" Madeline quickly picked up the duffle bag and hid in the closet. I go under the bed Katherine beside me. I look up to see one of the men in black passing by the window. suddenly he stopped and turned to look inside, my breathing started getting shaky. I held Katherine's hand tight, " please don't notice us, please..." I whisper to my self. the men see nothing suspicious, well at least I think he didn't.
