Betty-
It was another Friday night in Riverdale, the gloomy, rainy evening, gave jug and I less options on what to do, so we did what we did every Friday, ordered a few milkshakes and burgers, and caught up (even though I told him everything) the door chimes as we walked in.
"Hey Betty, Hey jug, fancy seeing you here." Pop joked, like he did any time we came in.
"Hi pop." I greeted. We sat in our usual booth and pop knew exactly what we wanted.
"So...juggie." I said with a bright smile on my face.
"What is there to be happy about, it's raining and we can't go to the drive in." He frowned.
"Yeah, but we always find something to do together, and besides we can still watch a movie at the bijou." I suggested.
"Yes, they play movies, but does the bijou allow us to sit in the projection room?" Pop put the milkshakes down on the table. "The answer Betty is no." He said picking the cherry off his shake and popping it on his mouth.
"Jughead, we have the same conversation every time it rains." I laughed.
"That's true, but does this normally happen." Jughead pointed to the door. I looked back to see a beautiful raven haired girl, with a black coat and high heels, her pearls sparkled from the neon lights in the diner. We locked eyes, and I smiled, she started approaching us.
"Hi, I'm new here what's the best thing on the menu?" She smiled revealing her white teeth.
"The burgers are delicious." Jughead said before I could say anything.
"I'm not the burger type of gal but I'll give em' a try." She smirked.
"You're not from here are you?" I asked.
"No, I actually I just moved here from New York." She said.
"Wow, that's a long way from home, isn't it?" Jug asked.
"Yeah."
"How are you liking Riverdale so far?" I asked.
"I've only been here for a couple hours, see I'm breakfast at Tiffany's, but this place is strictly in cold blood." She laughed.
"Well...would you like to join us, we could always use an extra person in our group." Jughead said. I glared at him.
"Actually, I should get going, my mom is expecting me home, to unpack, but it was fun checking things out, I'm Veronica by the way." She said.
"Betty." I held out my hand.
"Jughead Jones." She walked off with her heals clicking against the floor.
"So...Veronica?" He asked.
"She doesn't want to be friends with us." I told him.
"Yeah your probably right." He shrugged. We carried on with the rest of our night. (No we did not see a movie)

I know I make a lot of FanFictions hopefully this is as successful at You're the One I Choose or more, but I really like the idea, and I'm probably not gonna get any views and I might not even finish this one, but I have hope :)
I love you guys
