"Oh Hero, what are we going to do about this?" A middle aged woman paced back and forth in a panic in her bedroom in front of her husband, who was sitting on the bed blankly staring at his lap. "Our only girl is just a child, far too young to be marrying 303's oldest son. But if we don't want war, we need to offer her up to be married." The lady really did look worried as she paced so much she could have left a trench in the oak wood floor. The husband finally looked up at his wife with his glowing white eyes and sighed as he stood.
"Calm down Emery. We will find some sort of solution to solve this mess." He attempted to comfort her by placing his hand on her shoulder and stopping her in her tracks. She sighed as well and took in a few deep breaths. But nothing seemed to be helping. She still looked worried as ever.
"Do you think 303 has a daughter Kalarīa could marry? He may only be fifteen, but that is much better than a five year old getting married." Emery thought with swelling hope in her eyes.
"I am afraid not dear." Hero shook his head. "He made it clear that he wanted his oldest son to be married."
"Bu- but! A seventeen year old can't marry a five year old Hero! We need another solution!" Emery's eyes darted around as if whoever they set on would be the chosen one, but the husband and wife were the only two in the room.
Then, out of nowhere, an idea struck Hero in the head. With the idea it brought back dreadful memories that he wished hadn't come back, but the idea was worth it!
"Emery!" Hero said with new hope as he put his hands on his wife's shoulders and turned her fully to him to grab her full attention. Once Emery saw his hope she looked at him curiously.
"What is it Hero?" She asked him.
"It is possible..." Then his face filled itself with an awkward look. "It coouuulld be possible, that I might possibly have... a n o t h e r child." He really looked awkward saying that. Emery's mouth dropped open but she wasn't entirely surprised.
"You don't mean-"
"Yeah, could be possible." Hero answered before she could even fully ask.
"But that was even before we met! Who knows if she even kept the child, knowing it was yours! And even if she didn't and the child is still alive, what if it's a boy too?! Then you would have two seventeen year old boys being forced to marry eachother!" Emery began pacing again.
"Well I guess it would be better going and finding out instead of just sitting here and worrying. This should be an easy trip. Just there to gather clues and back if I find nothing. I should be back by the end of tomorrow. Got it?" Hero laid out a little plan. Emery nodded and looked a little pleased with the plan. And Hero teleported away, to who knows where.
