Emmalyn panted after several minutes of nothing but running. The entire time mobs chased behind her with the intention to capture. Still a few arrows flew past the girl as she ran. She had passed the boarder of torches quite some time ago and didn't recognize the terrain around her anymore. She was as good as lost at that point. Even if she did manage to escape the mobs, it would be quite some time before she finally made it back home safely. Unfortunately the fact that the mobs were so persistent in chasing her didn't hint that all this was just some kind of prank. A joke was an understatement by now.

"Aaa!" Emmalyn yelped as she suddenly lost her footing and fell into the mouth of a small cave. She thought quickly and decided to stay still in there with the hopes that the mobs would pass her. She was far enough ahead to trick them in that way.. Right?

She was proven right when she heard a series of footsteps race past the cave and farther away. Emmalyn sighed in relief when she could no longer hear the mob of mobs. So after a few more quiet minutes Emmalyn finally built up the courage to crawl back out. The forest was dark, but the moonlight shown through the leaves just enough so she could see. Everything had an unsettling dark blue coloring to it.

Emmalyn began tiptoeing through the now silent forest. After a little bit however her walk became normal until she was striding through the woods like she had before when it was day. She knew the general direction to where home was, so she wasn't entirely lost. On her way there however, she saw something. Something she wasn't expecting.

She saw her dad, Steve. But his clothes looked a little older and worn. And he had on a dark red and purple cape. He was looking down with his eyes closed as if he were sleeping standing up. His breathing made it seem that way as well.

"Dad!" Emmalyn cheered as she ran to hug him. "How did you get here?" She asked, stopping just in front of him. "..Dad?" She tilted her head. He didn't even seem to notice her. She waved her hand in front of his face, but his eyes were closed and he seemed asleep. "Do you sleep walk? Dangerous.. Come on, let's find our way back home?" Emmalyn said as she put her arm around her father to guide him in the direction she had been going. His eyes suddenly snapped open but he didn't jump, so he wouldn't startle whoever was trying to help him. Then he realized it was none other than the person he was looking for. His mouth curved to a smile under his glowing eyes.

"Didn't expect you to be the one finding me." He chuckled. Emmalyn jumped back in surprise. It wasn't her father's voice. It was different. This had to be someone entirely different. But how?!

"Wh- who are you?!" She asked with a shaky voice. She had just been chased by a ton of mobs and didn't really want anymore surprises.

"How do you not know? Everyone knows who I am." On queue to his own words, the man like Steve looked up at Emmalyn, showing her his glowing eyes that lit up the space around them. Emmalyn gasped, but then tilted her head with a confused expression.

"G- glowing eyes?! How?!" Emmalyn stepped back, ready to turn and run any second.

"You seriously don't know the most popular person in Minecraft?. Well, not exactly popular but definitely well known." He grumbled the last part. Emmalyn just shook her head and took another step back. She wanted to run. But she also wanted to know who this was.

"Just tell me already! Who, are, you?" She demanded.

"If I am right, which I sure I am, that would mean that..." little pause. "That I'm your real father. Not that weird person everyone thinks I am related to who goes by the name of Steve." He grumbled.

"Wha? You're the one who sent the mobs after me? The only other person Jef said can talk to monsters?! You're the mobs' master?!" Emmalyn took another step back.

"Yep.. And did this Jef person happen to tell you why?" The man asked.

"...H- h- he said he w- was looking, for his d- daughter." Emmalyn stammered.

"And what do you think that makes you, hm?" The man who looked like Steve asked.

"..No! It isn't true! I won't believe it!!" Emmalyn stomped her foot in protest.

"And you don't have to, right now. Just come with me, and I will take you home. Your real home." He then stuck out his left hand to be taken. Emmalyn only looked at him full of disbelief. He hadn't done anything bad that she could tell. But there was just this sense about him that made Emmalyn stand on edge, not trusting him one bit.

"No way jose!" And with that Emmalyn spun around and ran off.

"Escape isn't possible I am afraid." Emmalyn then looked to the voice and saw the guy hovering above the ground going the same speed she was, not breaking a sweat. She began running faster, but he only matched her speed and just waited as if letting her tire herself. Soon she was at a full sprint, running faster than she thought she could, but still he was right next to her, smiling a goofy smile at her. "Give up?" He asked with a cocky smile.

"Never." Emmalyn panted. Then she slid on her feet to stop suddenly. The guy wondered why. He didn't have much time to think though. He kept hovering at the same speed right into a tree. As he recovered, Emmalyn turned and ran where she just knew the house was. Finally she saw torch light and her face lit up with hope. She would be home.

Emmalyn somehow picked up her pace and ran and ran until she saw little fragments of the house in front of her. Her smile gleamed with hope. But that hope was short lived. The girl was quickly slammed into a tree. It was that guy again!

"Mom! Dad! Hel-" She was cut off by the guy's hand covering her mouth to muffle the "-p!"

"Shhh! You don't want to wake them. They need to think you ran away. That way they'll have no idea where to find you." The man spoke aloud. Emmalyn wiggled to get herself unpinned from the tree, but the other person was insanely strong. "Enderloin, prepare me a portal." The guy whispered, taking his own advice. An enderman with an iron crown on his head appeared and began building a portal frame out of obsidian right away. When it was done the guy pointed at it with his hand and it lit up on it's own. "Thanks. Now destroy it once I'm through, and disperse the mobs so there is no suspicion." The enderman nodded and watched as the man grabbed Emmalyn by the wrist and pulled her to the portal. She struggled again but it was no use. In the distance Emmalyn saw some faint pink appearing in the sky. Was it morning already?!

"Let, me, go! Mo-" She tried to call again. But like before, it was blocked off by the guy's hand. And tired of the struggle, he just picked the girl up and jumped through the portal himself. And the Enderman was left alone to fill out his orders. It would be as if nothing had happened.
